Excellent location and character
Reviewed By edpePragueAlong with my two colleagues, we spent here 5 days at the end of May 2013 during our field trip (collecting samples for geophysical research). Our stay was very enjoyable. Excellent location, outside the village of Les Estables, in old stony house with rooms providing all the necessary comfort, made with grate sense for the character of the house and place. The location offers amazing views of Massive Central, with the highest peak of Mt. Mezenc right behind the ground. And all the meadows around were just in full blossoming period. The house owner offers also dinner. I red the other critical reviews here. One has to realize that the house owner is not a professional cook from a Michelin-star restaurant. Instead, she was serving local, home-made food. During the five evenings, we got delicious roast-beef, as well as rather stiff chicken. The only thing I would recommend is to make breakfasts more variable. Always the same marmalade, mostly commercial, is not the best for such a place. Anyway, I would like to coma back again.

Reviewed By noelled729Ambiance chaleureuse et sereine Personnel au petit soin Repas variés de qualité Cours de skis bien adaptés aux débutants ce qui a permis à nos petits fils d'obtenir flocon et première étoile Espérons y revenir avec un peu plus de neige. Nous avons également bénéficié d'un temps splendide qui nous a permis de bien profiter des terrasse de cet adorable village
