Reviewed By David GAfter travelling 600miles to get there and arriving 20.10pm we were told the restaurant was closed because they had a group of children and about 4 adults in, 25 at most altogether. The hotel blurb states the restaurant is open until 21.30pm and that room service is available. None of this was offered by the receptionist just instruction as to where to eat out!! We could see at least 10 empty tables in the restaurant, not happy at all. An e-mail would at least of forewarned us and we could have stopped elsewhere.

Very clean, quiet and good value for money
Reviewed By kiminfranceThe hotel room was clean and fresh, fairly modern and simply decorated, with the amenities you would expect - ensuite shower room, television and even a safe. The room wasn't enormous, but perfectly adequate for a one night stay. The bed was comfortable and the pillows and bedding of a good quality. USB points AND electric sockets next to the bed were a nice touch. The shower room was also very clean, but being small got quite steamy when you took a shower and I noticed mold spots are starting to appear on the ceiling - maybe inadequate ventilation? I certainly didn't hear the VMC turn on and there was no separate switch to do so - however, the shower room and towels were spotlessly clean. Soap, shower gel and paper cups were provided. We didn't have breakfast, but the staff at check in and check out were very pleasant. The hotel is about 10 minutes from the centre of Agen and so we took the car to go in to eat in the evening although there are a few restaurants (pizza) within walking distance. Overall, no complaints and good value for money. Well done.

Our low cost solution is the perfect choice with air conditioned rooms, foreign language capable TV's, free Wifi all over the hotel and a reception open 24/7. In the morning you will be welcome to enjoy our Budget breakfast buffet to start your day well. Worried about your car? No need! We offer free parking to all of our customer's cars, trucks or buses. Around the hotel you will find restaurants (within walking distance) and visit areas. Good to know! We propose a package for Walibi theme park during all the spring and summer season. Please call the hotel for further information!
Disappointing stay compared to the other 4 Ibis Budgets we stayed at on this trip.
Reviewed By GoPlaces292196The hotel was very hard for our satnav, which is only 1 yr old, to find, it did not recognise any of the addresses on the website, finally tracing it as Autoroute des Deux Mers, but not before we had been directed back onto the motorway, resulting in an extra 38 mile trip and a second charge at the péage! We finally arrived at about 8.15pm, a very unfriendly receptionist on duty, who fired machine-gun French at me without a hint of a smile, and seemed annoyed when I asked a question about the restaurant which she had apparently already answered! The restaurant was only open until 8.30(!), and as there was no other eatery to be seen nearby, and we did not dare venture out onto the maze of roads to find anywhere else, we had a mad rush to put our bags in our room and get to the restaurant! However, despite a very restricted menu, the food was nice and the waitress very friendly. Our room was very disappointing, small, not very clean (spiders and webs around the window, dirty marks on the walls), the toilet flush handle was broken and would only flush sometimes. The shower would only aim directly at the opposite wall, and as there was no sill, the water ran straight off onto the bathroom floor and out into the bedroom next to the bed! We had to use one of the towels to mop it up. I left a note in the room to this effect. The window catch was also not very good. The public areas of the hotel were very nice, as were the restaurant and breakfast room, but our room (62) was run down and in need or repair! Of all the Ibis Budgets we have stayed at, this is the only 1 I have ever left a negative review for!
