Reviewed By Rome1121Nice people and quiet, but AC did not work. Did not sleep well Staff was aware that some rooms needed AC replaced. I liked the location. In the desert, AC is a must and these rooms should be inspected for this. Desk staff were very nice and room was quiet

Balanced Rock Inn is in the heart of mountain biking paradise! A family run business with clean rooms, free gig speed wi-fi and directTV, and a free bike wash. Each newly renovated room has a mini fridge, microwave and kuerig coffee machine. We are a 5 minute drive to the Colorado National Monument, Kokopelli Trail system and 18 Rd bike trails are 10 minutes drive, Lunchloops Trails in Grand Junction are also a great spot for bikers to check out. Within walking distance to the grocery store and local restaurants and there is a nice park right across the street.

Reviewed By anaswimsWe enjoyed our stay at Balanced Rock Inn a week ago. They are pet friendly which was our primary reason for staying at Balanced Rock. The nicely refreshed small motel was perfect for us while on our way up to Yellowstone. Our room was clean, well furnished & perfect for the 2 of us with our dog. We were comfy in our king bed, loved how friendly staff & other guests were. This was a small motel stop on our road trip, the nicest place we stayed on our week-long trip & I'm a believer in staying at such family-owned, refurbished motels now. Our drive north from Fruita was beautiful & we hope to return so we can spend time in the area again.

Reviewed By annehamrick757I'd stay here again. We stayed here at the end of a week's worth of vacation in Utah, and then flying out of Grand Junction. The place was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was nice. The location worked well for us.

Newly renovated (2015) hotel with full hot breakfast in town. Large screen TV in King and suites rooms. All rooms have HD channels and HBO. Free parking. Also parking for big trucks. Ultra fast internet. Most important thing we do not allow pets in all rooms .
Nice place to stay
Reviewed By Terri501This is a very nice place. Clean and comfortable with friendly staff and reasonably priced. We had a frig and microwave. We asked for paper plates so we could heat up some leftovers for our dinner and Sam (a woman) was very nice and got us some from the breakfast area. Breakfast was good the next morning too.
