Family run apartments

We had a slight bit of difficulty as GPS routed us to a residential neighborhood just behind the apartments but that was sorted with a quick call. The apartments are located on a main road so be sure to check your gps. We were greeted upon arrival and shown our apartment. We had booked the basic apartment which was indeed very basic, but had everything necessary including a large bathroom, small kitchenette, a table and chairs as well as tea/coffee. Tony was very helpful throughout the stay and even offered us a lift down to the port one morning. The walk to the old town was roughly 20 minutes, downhill and just a bit longer back as it’s uphill. A taxi/uber is only a few euros if you decide not to walk. There was a Tommy supermarket a few steps away and a couple other shops nearby including LIDL. Restaurants were a bit further but easily reachable. On the last day Tony showed us the other larger apartments available which were really nice. I would recommend an upgraded apartment for a longer stay, but for a few days the basic room was perfect for us. There was a patio area with tables and chairs in the sun which would be nice to enjoy breakfast or an afternoon tea. There was also an outdoor shower which Tony had built himself, impressive! Was an enjoyable stay and would recommend if you are looking to stay near, but outside the old town.

Manipulative and unfriendly owner

Reviewed By nadiaaT3257LW

Manipulative description of their rooms. Room was dirty, with mould on the walls, and in the shower. The fridge was rusty. And the smell of rotten humidity suffocating. The room was not on ground floor as claimed with see view, rather a Souterrain where one could only see the pool. The so called terrace of the room is actually storage for pool supplies as you see in the photos, and sleeping is impossible if you do not request that the guests from the other rooms leave the pool side and go to their rooms! Just horrible. One staffer was extremely friendly and tried to make it all better, but sadly his hands were tied by the greedy arrogant owner!

Villa Jelena

Wonderful place to stay in Zadar!

Reviewed By msw7

Our family of five so enjoyed our stay here. We only stayed one night but wished it had been longer. The hosts were so lovely and kind. It felt like we were being welcomed by family. They not only had water and fruit waiting for us they welcomed us with smiles and advice and maps. The apartment had a gorgeous little private garden with a table (where we happily ate breakfast) and the apartment was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was the best we have yet experienced on our trip and the beds were great. It is quiet and in a great location. I highly recommend Villa Jelena!!

I do not recommend it to anyone. dirty apartments

Reviewed By 212romand

Great disappointment !!! The reality was different than we expected, the photos are at least 10 years old. Untidy surroundings of the apartment house. The rooms are much smaller than in the photos and the bathroom was absolutely mini. The toilet does not work with suction, there is no drain in the shower. Road to the sea via rails. Luxury apartment should be deleted from the name, because there was nothing luxuriously unpleasant home, even after publishing a review on booking.com are threatened with reporting for bad behavior instead of accepting the reality, it's embarrassing and pathetic !!

Good apartment, big and good provided, with all the furniture in the kitchen, hairdryer, blankets, a table with chairs inside and outside. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The place is a bit far from the center town (40 mints walking) but if that is not important for you, the place is worth it. The hosts are very kind, we had to leave the apartment in the morning and our flight was in the evening and they let us keep the suitcases in the office so we could visit the town.

Villa Ivana

Villa Ivana is situated in Zadar, in the tourist area named Puntamika. The villa is placed near the very seashore, where is also to be found a large beach.Villa Ivana disposes of accommodation capacity consisting of 4 studios, 2 rooms and 1 suite, and therefore covers the capacity up to 20 persons.Beside above-mentioned, the villa's offer also includes the reception, coffee bar placed on the terrace viewing the sea, spacious garden, and the hall for breakfast-service (included in the price of staying for the night).

A wonderful place to stay across the road from the sea.

Villa Ivana is a wonderfully located B&B. Spotlessly clean, excellent breakfast and the owner is the most friendliest, helpful host I have ever known. The house is opposite a small rocky beach, it can be quite difficult to get in and out of the water and shoes are definitely needed. The water is wonderfully clear and a small variety of fish can be found for The snorkler. The rooms are spotlessly clean complete with mini bar and coffee/tea making facilities. Upon arrival the owner gave us some great restaurant tips which were top. Also a lot of information about the area. Nothing was too much trouble. There is a lively garden where you can sit for a drink also. I can thoroughly recommend Villa Ivana here you will receive a friendly efficient 5* service. We will definitely be returning.
