Valamar Imperial hotel - Rab island
Reviewed By kcyredGreat location just off the harbour. Definitely fine hotel - immaculately clean. Fine dining with varied meals, local menu plus international twists on favourites. Close by the sea and inland beaches. Really tranquil next to park. The staff are wonderful, friendly and real people - they speak several languages which is impressive and helpful. The bed and pillows are heavenly - actually slept well and rejevinated. Was impressed! Ps - only issue was slight higher cost of drinks at the bar or at meals. Overall a superb holiday.

Villa Matovica near the most beautiful nude beach Kandalora, near forest Dundovo. It is surrounded by hundred year old wood, in peace and quiet.

Reviewed By Mario BVery clean, modern, quiet place. Great value for money. Friendy hosts. Near forrest Dundo. Wonderful for biking, hiking, jogging. Sandy and rocky beaches nearby. Very special nude beach Kandarola. 4 km from the old town.

Villa “Margita” was built at the beginning of the 20th century entirely out of hewed rock in Art Deco style. The fact that its original condition and shape have been preserved until present day makes it even more exclusive. The villa is a real palace built from the finest selected rock in the Kvarner Bay. Unmistakeably, villa “Margita” is one of the most exquisite villas in the northern part of the Adriatic. Villa “Margita” is situated right on the sea-front promenade of the town of Rab with a magnificent view of the old town of Rab, and a spectacular view of Rab's four famous bell towers. It is located in the “Padova I” bay, one of Rab's top locations. Only an easy 15-minute-walk away are the town centre and Croatia's most beautiful and hidden beaches, all of which are accessible by taxi boats as well, parked right in front of the villa.
There are many other places you better should book if you visit Rab.

If you book it at Arbia it is 14€, if you book it directly in the hotel (Valamar) it is only 12€ Parking 95 Kuna per day Laundry Arbia charge you 75 Kuna (!!!!) per washing and in there own self washing place (200 m away) you have to pay 80 Kuna Rooms Rooms a old and more than used. They try to bring glamour in the hose with string lights ( you have on Christmas) and paint different parts / areas gold (not really good). Door Handels are not fixed. Etc. The only thing whichever's great is the bathroom with high class Vileroy Boch things. Cost Ober 100€/Night a way to much. MAX 85€/day (incl. parking)

Reviewed By Q1232KFvirginiabWonderful and friendly family restaurant with lots of tables and lots of selections. My husband had the Rigatoni Boulanie and I had the Caesar Salad for lunch and it was lots of good food! The staff was fast and attentive and the breadsticks were handmade and delicious.

worst treatment received ever
Reviewed By Lucian RThis is not a review of the villa Miranda itself (which I never got to see, after reserving it), but a review of the treatment received. I made online reservation for one apartment with 2 bedrooms and sea view for 1 night. I texted to the phone number from the site on the way to the villa. Received answer that, for my reservation, I have to go to another address (no 24), and not to the Barbat 59, which is the address from site. Went there. Big surprise: my reserved 2 bedrooms apartment with sea view is actually a room with parking lot view. The agent (which is NOT the owner) calls and makes me another offer. 50% bigger price (this will not be necessary an issue), but no internet and NO Air Conditioning. In the beginning of August! With 35 Celsius. Thanks, but no thanks. The agent tried to explain me that it's not their fault, that they never rent for 1 night (jut for 7 at least), that it's the fault of the booking company. Most probably a lie, they just rented to me and somebody else came, took it for a week, so they kicked me out. So, after wandering around few more hours on the beautiful island of Rab looking for accommodation, and my request for 1 night accommodation being answered with “seriously??? 1 night? No way, minimum 7 nights!”, and twice answered with “yes, we have, that will be 200E for 1 ROOM (I got cheaper in Paris, near Eifel Tour) I have decided the Rab Island with the very hospitable inhabitants is not a good destination for me.
