Well needed Getaway. Just as awesome as the first time!

Just came back from a return visit to Frog Meadow and it was awesome. I had not been in over seven years and it was just as spectacular as the first time. Dave, Scott and staff are very kind and gracious hosts to this secluded getaway. The accommodations were comfortable, very clean and well maintained. The property beautiful then ever. Breakfast very delicious each morning, wood fired hot tub relaxing, the trails enjoyable, and great conversation with the other guests. I won’t wait another seven years to return. I’m looking forward to another getaway soon.

After spending considerable time on their website and looking into airfare, I could not get to their reservations page. After emailing them, someone responded with "after 45 years the owners have retired and Green Mountain is closed". The person who is taking emails then said they are trying to get something else going and will contact me. They should have this on their website so people don't waste their time! So glad I didn't book the airfare!!!

Beautiful inn, rooms and location .... but

As we drove up the unmarked road to the farm we realised the natural Beauty of the B&B. We were greeted by Robin and shown to our room which was going to be home for the next 5 nights. We had the North chamber room and the decor was stunning with wonderful view of the mountains. The bed was amazingly comfy after spending the days touring the area. We had a 3 hour drive to get to the farm and felt disappointed that we were not offered some homemade refreshments on arrival so we had to quickly unpack and go out and find something in an unfamiliar location. We had arrived from the U.K. and brought clothes for out 2 week holiday so when we unpacked we noticed that although the room was stunning it’s had no wardrobe so our clothes were strewned around where possible. Robin told us that she no longer did breakfast but was honouring those that had pre booked, so we woke each morning to the lovely smells of coffee etc knowing that we could not have any and had to go out. We were given the wi fi code but could not log on when we questioned this we were told it was correct as this was in all rooms, it took me an hour to suss out where she had gone wrong writing it out. We were left to our own devises during our stay and given no help or advise where to eat or visit. Stunning place to stay but hosting skills could be improved.

My husband and I stayed the weekend for our anniversary. The breakfast was great, the views are amazing and the room was beautiful. We stayed in the green room which has skylights so if you like to sleep in or take naps during the day, bring an eye mask as the room is nice and bright. Nice two person jacuzzi tub available and our room had a mini fridge which was unexpected.

Lovely B&B and great hostess

Reviewed By mikecesq

My partner and I stayed for a week over Christmas this year and had a wonderful stay. The house is gorgeous and oozes charm. The owner Jennifer has a real eye for period detail and the house shows it. All the breakfasts we had were delicious and helped us fuel our busy days. Our room was very comfortable and the bed provided a wonderful night's sleep. The shower was hot and the water pressure was very good (I have a thing about that). The house was beautifully decorated for the holidays. This was my second stay and I'm sure it won't be our last. Thank you, Jennifer!

Great ski location

Reviewed By JAlamares

Because of our vacation dates, we booked two reservations so we could have a full kitchen. Two nights in a Double-Double with a mini-kitchen and five nights in a one bedroom (plus pull out couch) with a full kitchen. The full kitchen had everything we needed and only salt & pepper for seasoning. Both rooms were very good (although the double-double had more space. Since our primary purpose was skiing for this vacation, this location was perfect and we will definitely be back for a spring/summer trip to enjoy the national park grounds which are also nearby.

Unforgettable Family Vacation

Reviewed By Garrie D

My family and I were at Mt Snow Family Camp the first week of August 2015. On a scale of 1-10, I would give this place a 100! Everything was absolutely fantastic. It was just right mix of activities and relaxation. When my wife and I wanted to sit back and relax on the deck overlooking the beautiful mountain, or take a chair lift ride to the restaurant at the Summit for a drink, the counselors were there to entertain our 14 and 11 year old sons with an endless supply of games, hikes, and bike rides. The counselors were fantastic. There were kids ranging from ages 2 to 14, and the counselors were able to connect with all of them. Family activities included bike rides, down hill mountain biking, a day swimming at the lake, pontoon boat rides with tubing/boogie boards, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, and so much more. One afternoon the Mt Snow chef did a beer and cheese sampling for the adults while the counselors entertained the kids. The presentation was excellent, and we all learned a lot about different cheese and beer types, as well as the brewing process. Speaking of the chef, all the meals were delicious particularly the chicken and salmon on the last day. The chef managed to keep a group of 25 adults and children happy and well fed, which is not an easy task. There is so much more I could mention, but I think what sets this place apart from the rest is the staff’s goal to make sure everyone is having a fun and that everyone has everything they need. I would sum it all up by saying this…..If you’re looking for a family vacation with lots of quality family time loaded with fun activities, as well as some quiet time for mom and dad to kick back and relax, Mt Snow Family Camp is the place for you.
