Hotel Kalina is on a top location in Shiroka Luka - close to all important sites of interest. Shiroka luka is only 10 km from Pamporovo ski resort and 90 km from the city of Plovdiv. Hotel Kalina features its authentic style and delicious local cuisine. Fire place and traditional music in the restaurant make your day. Ski & snowboard equipment and training are available in winter time. All rooms come with a cable TV, private bathroom, hot water 24/7 and free WiFi. The hotel is centrally heated. The outdoor bistro with nice shadow is great for the warm season.

Reviewed By Pavlina SWe have stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, enjoying the traditional breakfast of the Rodopi mountain and the quite surroundings of the village. The rooms are well isolated, warm, and very clean! They are not luxurious, but give you everything you may need. Quite. The Saturday dinner was accompanied by traditional performances (gaida play and songs) by marvelous artist! The food and the restaurant is highly recommended, moderate price and high quality! Try the red table wine: delicious! Parking just in front of the hotel. A supermarket next door. Location very central. Staff very friendly. We shall visit anytime soon!

Good family hotel in Smolyan
Reviewed By Mihai TQuiet hotel, very clean. Comfortable rooms. There are few little things missing (shelf in the bathroom, shower cabin instead of floor shower) but generally you have everything you need. The apartments have one TV in each room. Nice view from the balcony. Breakfast is served in their restaurant just in front of the hotel, Food is tasty. Parking is large and free of charge. WiFi is good.

Our apartment was for 4 people, cozy but quite undersized- the kids bed was too tight for 2 persons. I advise you, if you have big children and you do not have a problem with the price, but you want two bathrooms and space, get two double rooms, a double room costs EUR 60 per night; .... Nice view of the sunset over the Rhodope Mountains from the small terrace of our apartment; .... There are no hotel slippers, you should bring yours, because in the bathroom there are reusable flip flops, which I am sure that for purely hygienic reasons you wouldn’t dare to put on; .... Numerous household decorations, wooden tables and benches in the tavern. Feel .... .... The feeling of cramped space in the apartment – the wardrobe was small and there was almost no place for clothes. For this reason, I recommend not to bring a lot of clothes there, it makes no sense. Get sportswear, outerwear and long trousers; .... Both bedrooms were with only one duvet, shared for 2 persons. I asked for extra, but they gave me bed covers, not something with a sheet; .... For the two nights we spent in Rodopski rai the room wasn’t cleaned up. I went on my own to ask for finished consumables. Listen.... .... Cleanest hotel ever!
Reviewed By dasreiseteamThe hotel looked big and well kept from the outside. When we arrived an elderly lady welcomed us but she didn't speak English. However, she phoned her daughter and over the phone we agreed to meet her a bit later and make dinner arrangements. We also got by with the help of Google Translate. The lady showed us our spotlessly clean room (101). It was large with an oversize king size bed, a sofa, desk chair and two cupboards. 2 large windows, facing the street on one side and a window and balcony door on the other let in a lot of light. We actually sat outside on the balcony for a while and enjoyed the view over the hillside until it got to cold. The bathroom was small but had what we needed apart from the shower curtain (a Bulgarian custom). Later we met Maggie, the daughter of the lady and ordered our dinner. She found time to sit with us and we had a chance to ask some questions about the life in the area. The dinner was good but especially the home made Patatki. We loved it so much that we asked for the recipe. The breakfast was also good. Served nicely decorated were cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, cheese, slices of smoked sausage, a boiled egg and jelly. The location was also OK for tours to the nearby attractions. It was excellent value for money.

Complex Chilingira is boutique family hotel located in the Rhodope Mountains above Vacha Dam. Our complex is: 20 km from Krichim, 15 km from Mihalkovo, 35 km from Devin. The location of the complex and conditions we offer are enough to make you feel at home. It is furnished with taste, an artistic spirit and attention to detail. The entire complex has a panoramic view, which reveals the beauty of the Rhodope Mountains and the magnetic Vacha Dam.

Even though, they were friendly and always ready to help.Food is fine, the view from the restaurant is great! You can see the Vucha lake from either the restaurant or rooms. Our room was clean ans spacious. There was a small problem with the bathroom - the lock was broken and if you push it harder, it could fall off. The wi fi connection was terrible. The balcony was also spacious and you can see both the swimming pool and Vucha lake.

Reviewed By Seaside99615The house canceled my booking 40 days after it was confirmed. Just like that, no explanation. They ruined my whole trip as there was no anymore options around. The call was rude and the attitude one of the worse I have ever experienced! Don't bother to book as you may stay without accommodation!
