Vista Alegre is the right place to get away of the noise of the city and relax in a natural space surrounded by trees and little animals. It has 8 bungalows, 4 villas and 2 cabins completely equipped. It is located in Colonia Independencia, department of Guairá, Paraguay.
Beautiful and Relaxing
Reviewed By Stephen GOur visit to the Vista Alegre Natural Resort was very short, but we had a wonderful time. The location is so peaceful, the view of the stars at night remarkable, the waterfalls and viewpoints on the hiking trails beautiful, and the accommodations clean and comfortable. One thing to note is that the resort does not have a restaurant other than a basic breakfast, so you should plan on either cooking in your bungalow (outdoor grills and shared kitchen facilities available) or driving to one of the nearby towns for meals. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I look forward to returning again soon!

Reviewed By ATUBBY24Hello this hotel can be dangerous.The breakfast is poor and allways cold with really bad coffee.The rooms are ok but on the first floor is no view.Has good secure parking.Do not use the in house food and drink service as is overpriced and they oftern keep your change.Do not trust the night porter as he is a thief so if you do need his help get what you need first before handing over any cash.Be warned the night porter will keep pestering you to have a prostitute which just becomes nasty and makes the hotel seem sleazy.For what you get is a little over priced good luck.No safe in the rooms.

The single problem is that they close the bar very early but the boy went to a local bar to help us out during the cold winter of Asunción. The location is perfect and I loved the view to the Paraguay River and the whole city.

We are family of four people from Ukraine??We used to travel a lot and already have been visited many places around the world .This January we decided to visit green and beautiful country Paraguay . Our guid gave us suggest to stay at Don Tani hotel.And fortunaly we were not disapoinded . Really it look like a piece of paradise ! I can say it as a person who tried many different hotels ,big resorts and as a ex.worker of Turkish 5* hotel. There are Clean and light rooms ,Kind ,pleasant and smiley staff at Din Tani .The hotel is surrounded by green trees and palms !Food is healthy and well cooked !!! Sure we are looking forward to come again and we will advice this comfortable small resort for our friends!!! Big thank to management and all staff!!Keep going guys!!! Best regards from Ukraine!)

Everything about this place is so well done that it is simply admirable. We initially intended on staying here for two nights but ended up staying here for approx 10 nights in two different rooms (double and twin). The prices generally range from $45-$55 depending on the season, type of room, and length of stay. The staff members: Ernham, Katia, Jesus, and the chambermaid (don't know her name) all made us feel at home, constantly doing their absolute best to help us with anything we might have needed, and ensure that we have a comfortable and pleasant stay. Indeed they have succeeded in that task. The rooms are very well designed with a TV (with Netflix!), air conditioning, ceiling fan, a large wardrobe, a table and a chair can be found in all rooms. They are all equipped with comfortable beds, clean sheets, and both face and body towels. The entire place is kept amazingly clean each day. Even the beautiful outdoor area is kept in an superb condition. The lounge, swimming pool, and all outside sitting areas add to the already lovely experience and make it perfect. This hotel is located in a very quiet and safe part of town, with several shops, coffee shops, and restaurants only a couple of blocks away (one place is actually 30 seconds away and has amazing food). WiFi connection is good throughout the property, even next to the swimming pool. I simply cannot recommend this place enough!
