We stayed many nights sprinkled through January and May/June 2021, and although this review is late on my part, this gorgeous property MUST be recognized. From the 5-star service to the spectacular, gothic-inspired property, meticulously framed by tropical foliage and an inviting pristine pool, this hotel is a true gem. It would be well over a thousand euros in Europe. I still dream of their room service breakfasts, elaborate and delivered with supreme service. We were so lucky to be able to visit multiple times during the pandemic, and they took great safety measures here, for anyone concerned with that—employees always masked, and sink outside with a doorman who handed you a fresh paper towel to dry your hands. The Hotel Manager is amazingly kind and detail-oriented, as are his entire staff. The photos in the review don’t do this properly justice. We hope we are lucky enough to return to this jewel of hospitality next time we are in Paraguay! Muchísimas Gracias Rodrigo y equipo! ¡Espero que nos veamos pronto!

Also, I loved breakfast, it was a wonderful selection of eggs/meats, cereals, breads, and fruits. The courtyard is super relaxing. The price can't be beat. I would recommend this establishment to any traveler.

Stay away from this hotel! Terrible experience
Reviewed By Orlando RWe stayed at this hotel with a group of twenty people, 10 adults and 20 kids for a swimming competition in Asunción. The hotel is under construction and we were never told. Construction works start at 7 am making it impossible to stay at the hotel due to the loud noises. Construction workers are all over the place, using the elevator to load materials from the lobby to the roof. The room was dirty and full of mold and there was no fire system active, as it is been replaced. We moved to another hotel the same day

Reviewed By 697rafaelcNice bathroom, beds and fridge. Breakfast was good. It could have a better variety of breads and cold cuts, though. The pool area is amazing, specially during the night. Wi-fi worked well. The gym is small, but enough to do some light workout. I couldn't make the running machine work, but Im sure I could have figured it out if I had asked someone about it.

Reviewed By Carlos SFirst, the location it’s perfect, in the heart of Villamorra (the real downtown in Asunción) but in a quiet place. The rooms are way much bigger than average and the staff is great. It also has a very nice swimming pool. Probably a good point to improve would be that has a very limited room service.

Reviewed By TheresaP28This place was impeccably clean. And cleanliness is hard to find in a place like Cuidad del Este. The owner treated us like family. He invited us to sit around and sing Christmas carols with his relatives. And he even took me to the doctor and helped translate. They serve good dinner too.

Basic and very clean, nothing more
Reviewed By Lili CMy spouse and I stayed there overnight recently. The hotel is extremely clean, but it is very basic in furnishings and decor. The bed is low, the mattress is just a thick slab of foam lined with fabric and lacks a sommier, the bed linens are quite worn, and there was no mattress pad. The place is very echoey. From the bed, you can distinctly hear the footsteps and conversations of other guests in the tiled corridors, as well as the rumblings of the truck traffic on the road. The breakfast buffet had a wide choice of cakes and sweet pastries, but unfortunately offered no toast (there was no toaster in sight), low-fat yogurt or enough sliced fresh fruit. The night of our arrival, dinner was in progress. There was a karaoke group posing as a band, playing at several times the decibel limit that is deemed healthy. Be aware of this if you plan to have dinner there! The morning of our departure (Sunday), at breakfast time, there was a real band (scheduled to play during the Sunday buffet lunch) rehearsing at the same insane decibel level.

El hotel hermoso pero el desayuno malo
Reviewed By Marcela CEl hotel es muy lindo, la atención excelente, está muy bien ubicado muy cerca del Shopping del Sol y de otros centros comerciales. No tiene frigobar ni placard. El desayuno es una bandeja (como la de los micros) con dos pedazos de fruta, un sandwich pequeñito, una rodaja de budin y algo para tomar. El jugo es artificial. No hay nadie que atienda, no se pueden hacer tostadas, ni hay dulce, ni queso, ni manteca. Una pena porque todo lo demás está muy bien.
