cozy stay and super friendly host
Reviewed By IreneLanTaiwanBest breakfast ever, everything is homemade! I love all the bread and pastry! All rooms are newly refurbished. There is a living room with board games and there are many travel info booklets about the neighborhood. They even have a website of info email to us after booking, very considerate. There is supermarket and petrol station nearby. Easy to travel with cars.

23 jeans center located at the foot of Annecy welcomes you in its renovated rooms in 2015. they are equipped with sink, shower , toilet and wifi. The rate includes one night + breakfast. Direct bus nearby ( 10 minutes and Lake Annecy ), view of the lake and the city of Annecy. at the foot of the stations. the center has a restaurant and several meeting rooms , conference room .
Took payment 4 months ahead of booking period
Reviewed By travelmonkey231The booking terms were clearly "pay later" but this hotel took payment immediately in contravention of its own ts and cs. Then, when the booking was cancelled well ahead of check - in and within the allowed cancellation period, the hotel did not issue a refund - again in contravention of its own ts and cs. Nor has it answered numerous emails or phone calls. 560 euros just gone. Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

Best nights sleep I’ve had for ages Lovely pool, spa,sauna and hammam. Gym facilities good No bar or food facilities but you can order bread or pastries for the morning. Complaints on trip advisor that the apartments weren’t serviced except once during the week. If you want hotel service this isn’t the place for you Already booked my next visit!!!

BEWARE €300 taken from debit card with no authorisation
Reviewed By lynnsB9412CAWe stayed at the hotel for one week on the 5th February. On arrival they take all your details and your debit/credit card details as security incase there is any damage to the room. We are a couple approaching 60yrs old so would certainly not be causing any damage to the room. On our return home I checked my bank statement and they had taken €300 with out any authorisation. I sent an email asking why they had done this as I was very upset. However they accused us of taking bed covers. Well we certainly did not take any Linen and emailed them immediately. I explained that we could not possibly fit linen in our cases as we were travelling by plane and perhaps they got the room numbers/guests muddled up. I asked for them to return the money ASAP. At present they have not replied or returned my money and I last emailed them on the 3rd March. Please be very careful when going to this hotel as it appears there maybe a scam going

Reviewed By AlexanderLundinPerfect location with ski in ski out, good ski room for storage with locks. Ski passes can be bought at the reception. Wonderful staff that will be missed! Restaurant has plenty of options and the quality was good. Room was clean and was cleaned daily. Amazing view of the village and mountain! Overall very happy with the stay. Staff being so nice was one of the best parts!

Reviewed By murdock12_13Sorry but I can't rank more than two, especially when looking at the relationship btw quality and price. It's a very sporty hotel, the apartments definitely need renovation or the price must be lowered to a 2 star standard. Be prepared to climb a lot of stairs. I struggeled two days to obrain some heating in the room, almost no english is spoken at the reception. No english at all is spoken at the restaurant: embarassing. Not bad the meals, but the restaurant is absolutely not sufficient to host all the hotel guests. Pool? Is that a hotel swimming pool? The positive aspect is a paragliding landing site just beside the hotel.

Reviewed By 428helenoWe’ve stayed here 5 times now, it’s starting to feel like home! In fact I wish it was. Clean, comfortable. With plenty of amenities. (Wish it was cheaper - but hey, would it feel as good if it was?) Staff are great. Location great. Châtel is warm and inviting - even when it is -3 all day! We’ll be back!
