Reviewed By skintbuthappy_8My husband and I took visited here in early May and needed a relaxing break following a difficult year. We stayed in the adults only area in two amazing rooms that had everything we could think of. The outside areas are fabulous and surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens. A winding maze of pathways takes you to your rooms and it is quite a walk so we ended up hiring a mobility scooter for my Mum - big shout out to Paul at MobilityMe who delivered this in a couple of hours. The main adult restaurant is lovely and the staff amazing. There is plenty of choice every day. We were a little disappointed we couldn't use it at lunchtime and went in the family restaurant that we found a bit like a cafeteria. the tour operators sell these suites as adults only but they are on a family site so you can't avoid children if you want to try one of the large beautiful pools. Night time entertainment for adults only is a failure I'm afraid. The main room was full of young children and catered for them. The adults bar had a mediocre singer every night and was rather boring. As we were there to relax this didn't bother us too much but could annoy other guests looking for an adult entertainment programme. I should point out that I do love children and have had many, many family holidays abroad but when we booked this we did think it was an adult only complex. The adults pool is small but we loved it and the snack bar was fabulous with a cold buffet available all day and then meals made to order which were all great for lunch. We had one a la carte evening in the Italian restaurant and the food was fantastic. The staff at the Elba work extremely hard. I hope they have more bar staff in peak season as they were run off their feet when we were there! I would definitely return to this hotel - the rooms and setting alone make it a gorgeous place to relax and I may even return with my grandchildren and have the full family experience! Oh, and the spa is fantastic - had a great massage.

Reviewed By brit19740Amazing value for the money we paid. A very relaxed place with a great pool area, no rushing for sunbeds. The rooms are dated but very clean, all the staff are lovely and always say "hola" We stayed B&B and the breakfast was fine, again you have to compare it against what you've paid which was about £3 per person a day on the booking. We loved the resort of Caleta De Fuste, lots of places to eat and drink from lovely Tapas to beach bars. We went in a group of 8 and had a fantastic time and would definitely return

Reviewed By SSKGlmJust had a wonderful 9 nights at this beautiful location. We have been to mogan 3 times before but this was by far the best. The location of the apartments is breathtaking, the cliffs absorbed all noise so have had the best 9 night's sleep in a long time. The beds were very comfortable the showers powerful and to top it off the kitchen totally equipped with a really decent oven, so cooking at the apartment and eating on the balcony was a pleasure not just a money saving excersise! We are 40s with late teens and it worked for both age groups. WiFi perfect. Will be back as soon as we can!!

Reviewed By gary ci thought the rosamar apartments were really good value for money. the apartment was very good size rooms in all areas also 2 t.v in the apartment in the bedroom and lounge. very good shower in bathroom and also free soap and shampoo. got cleaning service every 2nd day toilet rolls and clean towels. pool area was very nice and clean. with plenty of sunbeds. the service from staff in all areas 1st class. great location local spar shop on door step and only 5 mins from bars and restaurants.

The beautiful Tai-Chi studio purpose built to face a setting sun, the extraordinary wisdom and learning of Paco and, with him, Natalia and Bouri. Spectacular cuisine and life affirming expeditions to the Dunes, the volcano and ile de labos. Don't tell anyone about it!

La Pared powered by Playitas is situated on the south west coast of Fuerteventura in the village of La Pared. The Resort is around 380 meters away from the beach 'Playa del Viejo Rey'. The views and sunsets are spectacular. Beyond that it is a fantastic location for surfing and other sports activities. The accommodation offers breakfast and dinner in a buffet style. Lunch can be served 'a la carte' at the Pool Bar. In La Pared you can find a minimarket and a café. Costa Calma is just 9 km away. There you can find different restaurants, supermarkets and shopping centers. Morro Jable where you can take the ferry to Gran Canaria is just 33 km away. The airport is about an hour by car. Furthermore, our guests are also welcome at Playitas Resort (30 km away) where they can use the sports facilities and participate in the different activities .
Fabulous family holiday with Neilson
Reviewed By gk1a2bOne of our best family holidays! Resort was immaculately clean. We were in a 2 bed family apartment with a kitchen and living area. It was clean (and cleaned daily) and quiet. The food was the best resort food we've ever had. The quality was excellent and there was a huge choice - vegetarians and gluten free diets were also catered for. The restaurant staff were always cheerful. There is a well stocked mini market on site so you can stock up on any extras you might want and a fabulous little german coffee shop just outside the resort. The resort activities are provided by Neilson and a Danish company called Apollo. The guests comprised a great mix of Danes, Germans and Brits. The range of fitness classes was huge and the instructors were excellent. The gym was very well equipped. Neilson provides the very cheerful resort manager, Neil, alongside Sam the tennis coach and Victor the cycling guru and lead. They were all knowledgeable, enthusiastic and fun. You can go on a guided road or mt bike ride or follow one of the trails provided. Local hiking trails are also available. Surfing is available at additional cost from an onsite surfing school. The resort also has 2 pool tables and 2 table tennis tables - which were well used by our children! The resort itself is a bit windy and the waves at the local beach are huge (hence the surfing). Family football and disco bingo are 2 of the most popular social events. Thank you Neilson and all the resort staff for a wonderful holiday.

Ineffective Senior Management

Despite a number of complaints by myself and many other guests, the senior management were incapable of keeping control of several rowdy, drunken inconsiderate, middle aged female holidaymakers who ruined the holidays of myself and many other guests. The noise, language and antics were intolerable but the manager refused to take decisive action and allowed it to continue unabated.

Reviewed By Jen LThis hotel is well located when you spend your day at Teide National Park. The hotel has an enjoyable spa and a great restaurant. Carlotta was extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent value for price! We were kind of disappointed by the village of Vilaflor as we were expecting something charming, but El Tejar made our stay an experience we did not regret!
