Con: Hotel is very old, toilet is dirty and Bedsheets stains. My room is at ground floor facing the swimming pool. The beach unable to swim. Location not so convenient. I would to stay near Alona beach area. Pro: friendly staff and outside have nice view. Not worth the price! Not recommend!

The Three Shooting Stars

Well - equipped, well priced, clean and a very helpful host

Reviewed By greg_wanders

My wife and I stayed at 3 shooting stars for 3 night during our time in Panglao. The communication with the hosts was great from the time I made the booking through booking.com. Vivian, our host, organised the bike rental for us for our stay at a very reasonable rate of 350P/day. Throughout our stay she was very polite and helpful in anyway she could. Even offered us beer from her own fridge as there was a liquor ban on the day we arrived. :) The room was spacious, clean, and well equipped with an umbrella, lantern, tourist maps, menus and a kitchenette with all the essentials. Of course the room did not have a TV as its a homestay, but the WiFi was decent enough to stream Netflix on our laptop. There is a kubbo and hammock in the garden common area and even an extra kitchen outside with drinking water to fill up your bottle. Perfect for a relaxing getaway or some downtime in the evening. The shower had hot water and the bathroom was a decent size. The room even provided a blow dryer. Overall we were really impressed with the Ammenities and the room in general for the price. Would definitely recommend staying here as you are only a 5 minute walk to Alona beach as well. The property is off the main road, but the hosts give you good directions in how to reach it. 5 stars!

Bohol Sea Breeze Cottages and Resort

Not beachfront, but hey, you could use a walk

Reviewed By Jeremy A

My friend and I stayed at Bohol Sea Breeze for 4 nights. Room was cozy. There were 2 beds that were set up on a higher level like an elevated floor (it looks like a stage). And another bed on the lower floor. TV has limited channels but there is an AUX. They also have a convenience store but they close early like 7pm so better get all you need before that time. The AC also took some time to cool. You can do your own cooking in the resort, but if you don't feel like it, just walk towards Alona beach and choose from their array of canteens and bars.

Magic Oceans Dive Resort

Relaxing and family-friendly Resort

Reviewed By allenvarq

For an overnight stay together with my family, their rooms were really affordable. They have family type room good for 5 persons. The Resort is filled with plants, and trees. Birds can be spotted diving in the pool. They are not located along the white sand beach but they are close to a cliff, with a good overlooking view of the ocean. There's a stair leading down to the sea, perfect for snorkeling and scuba diving. They allowed us to borrow aqua shoes for free, which we appreciated. The food in their restaurant is quite expensive. However, their food’s serving quantity is more than what we expected. Their staff was really accommodating to re-heat our leftover dinner food for breakfast. There's no toothbrush and toothpaste in the rooms. It’s best to bring your own toiletries: soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, and toothpaste, at least. Internet connection was intermittent, since we had to frequently input the password, when we move to different locations in the Resort. I suggest to rename all wi-fi routers in the Resort to a single name, with the same password, so that guests do not have to re-type and reconnect to the wi-fi when moving from their room to a different restaurant, or to a different location in the Resort. Over-all we had a great stay. The staff made a good impression for our stay in the Resort. They are very accommodating. The Resort is good for families to bond and relax. But, surely, it is the perfect Resort for people who love to go underwater.

The hotel was ok: quite clean, nice pool and terrace. Beds were comfy. Bathrooms could be improved a bit, some parts there were either broken or dirty. Breakfast was included but it was 1/5. We could eat only eggs and coffee. Did not even know what the “meat” was that was served. Could stay again.

The people working there are super friendly, you feel like visiting your own family. The accomodation is nice and spacious in a tropical garden. Amazing place where you can swim with school of sardines and have great snorkeling accessible through stairs from the cliff directly. There is an amazing freedive school in the resort as well as a scuba school too!

Not “Glamping” Only Camping Alona

Reviewed By iceaizbaby

The staff are nice and welcoming. They connected us to their accredited scooter rental, which is a big help since the transportation here in Panglao is very expensive compare to other places we’ve been. The food and coffee are good too. Limited menu but it’s convenient. The term glamping doesn’t describe their resort/accommodation. It’s dirty and it smells old. We also saw cockroach which is ew! Made me feel very uneasy and uncomfortable. They also have karaoke til late night so it’s a little loud and disturbing. Nothing personal but please clean your tents.

Poor Ambiance

Reviewed By johnie c

I stayed here for approximately two weeks and had the misfortune of experiencing the change of management. The place changed from organized to unorganized. Staff changed from relaxed and friendly to stressed and unhappy. Some staff even quit as a result of the new management. There are many other hotels, hostals and resorts in the immediate area. I highly recommend staying at any other location before staying here.
