Cheap, clean, convenient

We popped into Torremolinos on our way back to our villa - ended up drinking too much to drive hope, so hoped onto Agoda and Booking.com to find a room. This place is on Nogalera- where all the gay bars and clubs are. You pay online and are sent a code to access the building and the hotel. We booked. 40€. The double room was medium size, clean, good bathroom, towels and soap - it was quiet and literally 200m from the revelry. Would book again in caught out.

Arrived quite late at Malaga airport and by the time we arrived Marieangela had left so we had the code to enter the guest house and settle ourselves in. It’s super clean, quiet and comfortable. Facilities are shared and there is a kitchen with all required basics. Each room has its own cupboard for food and shelf in the fridge. We managed to park in the street though we were lucky. There are plenty of pay for parking garages close by if you have a car and not lucky enough to bag a parking spot (all free and unrestricted.

Simply amazing

After securing some mega cheap Ryanair flights we were on the hunt for some cheap and cheerful accommodation. When we came upon this hostel (by the way don’t let the word hostel put you off it’s what we in the UK would definitely liken to a hotel) we thought wow how could somewhere so nice looking be so cheap (we paid £86 for two nights!! Total) Well all I can say is we struck gold! The whole place is absolutely immaculate the position is great literally a five minute stroll to the lovely beach and close to the beautiful old town. We have been blessed with wall to wall sunshine and lovely temps for 2 days which means we have made full use of our private terrace! We paid a little bit more for a suite (webhad the Costa Del Sol suite) and so glad we did. (We could have got a standard room for just £60 for two nights!) Gorgeous comfy bed unbelievable shower and the room also had a hairdryer and iron! We also had a coffee machine and tea! The receptionist was very friendly although we only saw her on arrival. The only slight negative is that I never received any response from emails I had sent prior to our arrival but that really wouldn’t put me off in any way. If we return to Marbella we wouldn’t stay anywhere else! 5 stars!

Hostal Vista a la Sierra

Great accommodations, friendly owners

Reviewed By Ebluemn

I had the pleasure of staying at Hostal vista a la Sierra during a climbing trip to El Chorro. The hostal is about 20 minutes away from the main climbing areas, but since I had a rental car this turned into a pleasant daily morning drive. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The owners were very welcoming and always helped with a smile. There is a hotel restaurant attached and the food was simple was tasty, with the staff dealing well with my broken Spanish. At 30 euro/night for a single person, this place was a bargain.

The Mediterranean breakfast is great value and also I can recommend the menu of the day. Good food at very good prices. The staff are very friendly and the service is probably the best you get in Spain. A good place to stay and start your visit to Ardales.

Hotel Rural Andalucia

A tucked away gem

Reviewed By keenvisitor

A little tricky to find the friendly locals literally led us there. A beautiful courtyard and upper veranda with lots of plants. Large, well appointed room with personal touches and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast ( jambon, yoghurt, fruit, juice ) was in the fridge along with a split of cava, milk and coffee. Fresh bread was on the door in the morning. Very nice host, quiet village and very near the flamingoes in season
