Really Helpful

Stayed here for a few nights but had to leave early because mother-in-law was taken ill in Southern Spain. The landlord was really good about the situation and didn't take advantage of us leaving earlier than we had booked. The hotel is situated in a small village and is ideal for exploring the local hills and mountains, either on foot or by bike.

My wife and I stayed here no our way from San Sebastián to porto, and were totally surprised to find this lovely place situated in a remote rural area. Angel was extremely friendly with great advise and service. Dinner cooked in the open coals was the best! Highly recommend

Lovely rooms, breakfast straightforward

Reviewed By Walnutgang

We stayed for 1 night whilst walking in the gredos. The superior room was excellent for the price with a big comfy bed, sofa and coffee table, large bathroom with corner jacuzzi bath and a fabulous picture window with view of the mountains. The breakfast could be improved. You ordered at the bar, and had to get up and collect everything when it was ready. Only things available to eat were toast with jam or toast with tomato (in those little plastic individual pots). The coffee and orange juice were both good. As many people staying are walkers a more hearty breakfast could be offered.

Spot On

Stayed here for 5 nights for a cycling trip to see La Vuelta and ride some of the excellent roads in the area. Sergio couldn't have been more accommodating allowing us to build and store our bikes in an unused room in the casa. Breakfast is normally from 0900 but we wanted an early start so again Sergio helped out by leaving out bread, coffee and fruit so we could make breakfast earlier. The rooms were excellent value, simple but spacious with everything needed. As noted the church bells, which appear to be set to random shuffle, chime roughly ever 15 mins day and night. (Why?) This would be annoying if the windows were open but with the fan on and the shutters closed it was no issue for me. Final shout out to Arenas for putting on a great depart where we fans were able to walk amongst the team busses and chat to the riders as they warmed up. Buen trabajo!

Lovely place

This is good value and very comfortable. Thick stone walls, shuttered windows, cast iron radiators and spacious living area next to the bedroom. In an incredibly quiet, rural landscape; very friendly staff though little English so some basic Spanish is useful. They we happy to serve us dinner at 7pm. It was a basic 3 course meal, a choice of 2 items per course, made with local ingredients and very tasty. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast and appreciated the owner letting us park our motorbike inside the gate - so an animal wouldn't knock it over in the night he said!

Problema principalmente con la limpieza. Muy por debajo de las expectativas

Reviewed By iplazam28

Buenas tardes. Adjunto fotos. Paso a exponer: 1. Saludos, Nacho

Yo no iría

Reviewed By tony_guisado
