A Great Getaway!!

We stayed here for two nights in May, 2022. The house is stunning, and Julie and Randy are gracious hosts. Julie prepared a wonderful breakfast each morning--a really good start to the day. Randy was helpful in making suggestions for day-time activities in the area. We ended up driving to the Ross Creek Giant Cedars, and then on to see Kootenai Falls and went across the swinging bridge over the Kootenai River. Took short hikes at both places, easy and moderate, that were breathtakingly beautiful. We utilized the provided barbeque and kitchen at the lodge to prepare our own dinner. Then spent the evening playing cards and enjoying the warmth and coziness of the lodge. We stayed in the Trailboss Suite, which is very impressive with tasteful western decor, a comfortable king-sized bed, and the bathroom has a jacuzzi tub, and also two rainfall showerheads. All in all we had a a great couple of days here, and would love to make a return visit.

Nice cabins and bar

Reviewed By Kirk H

Remember summer camp? This place is a nicer version. A set of cabins with rooms for two to I-don't-know-how-many people surround the main building where the restaurant and bar are located. Most of the people staying there seemed to be sportsmen, elk hunters or trout fishermen. Our room for two was very nice, though the shower seemed a bit small. We did have AC, TV and all the amenities. My only complaint was that parking spots weren't marked and people seemed to park anywhere. There was someone's huge pickup parked right outside our "back" window, so I was afraid to leave the window open (his exhaust was pointed right at it). In the morning I opened our door to find another pickup about two feet from the entrance. We had dinner in the bar, which was nothing spectacular, but the drinks were good an inexpensive.

A good experience

Very nice place to stay and experience. Even though you could hear what your neighbors were saying in the room next to you. Fun location away from everything but it also made it difficult looking for places to eat as most places were closed or just beginning to open up for the season.

So worth it! This place, Jeanie and Robert are amazing!! The perfect get away. This is our third visit in 10 years because we have family in other states to visit but family members have returned every year because it is that amazing. Weather there is one, two or 12 in your party they can accommodate you and do it well. Way better than any hotel and so much to do right out your door or close by. Much more than a hotel. This is an experience not to be missed!

Great Early Season Fishing

Despite the sketchy weather this early in the season [Mothers Day], I had three good days fishing with guides out of the Healing Waters Lodge. One day wade fishing was one of the best ever. And of course, Mike and Laura run a very fine establishment near Twin Bridges. Mike orchestrates the fishing and Laura is amazing at the other details. I highly recommend this lodge.

Nice place to stay close to town

We stayed in a 2 bedroom and it was super nice to spread out. Kitchen had all the basic stuff we needed. Some of the kitchen items reminded me of grandmothers time, but everything worked! The grounds were well maintained. Good water pressure and towel quality. Staff very nice. As it was C-19, we didn't have housekeeping daily, which is fine for us. Very responsive when we wanted new towels. Pillows needed a bit of improvement. Overall I would stay here again!

FANTASTIC PLACE TO STAY IN MONTANA

Reviewed By Cowboys88888

Our family went out to Jeff and Robyn's place, (Reedfly Farm) last week, and it was amazing. We were greeted when we arrived by Robyn, and her two wonderful dogs that made us feel right at home. ( I wish we could have taken Huckleberry home with us..lol) Our cabin was amazing. Everything done 5 star. When she showed us the kitchen, we had wine, a DELICIOUS CINNAMON ROLL CAKE, and fresh eggs from their farm waiting for us to enjoy. Our backyard was facing beautiful Emigrant Peak Mountain, and we were steps away from the Yellowstone River and our son started fishing immediately. During our stay Jeff was kind enough to tell our son where other good fishing holes might be, and we got to fish the pond on the property as well. The property is an easy ride from Bozeman Airport, close to Yellowstone Park, and the towns of Emigrant and Livingstone both had great food and things to do in a quaint small town atmosphere which we loved. We have decided to make Reedfly our family summer trip from here on out. We are already making plans for next summer. If you want a super nice place to stay, in a beautiful part of our country, Reedfly supplies all that and more. Thanks again Robyn and Jeff, we will be back!
