Our hotel is situated in a beautiful area Baba Stana in the mountain just above Oreshak village. One can enjoy the peacefulness of nature. The restaurant offers great variety of Bulgarian and international dishes which can satisfy everybody's taste. The garden and swings help the families to enjoy their stay.

Reviewed By NCCLDRZWe spent 3 nights at Plamena Family Hotel and I couldn't recommend it more! The location is beautiful and peaceful. Rooms are clean and cozy and with a nice balcony overlooking the forest. The owners are extremely nice and pleasant people who will happily give you recommendations on things to do in the surroundings. And the food in the restaurant -- well, it is just amazing!

Wanderwoche im Balkan
Reviewed By Dan WWir hatten eine super Woche mit 6 Freunden im Hotel als Basis für Wanderungen im Zentral Balkan National Park. Es gab gute Tipps auf Deutsch. Dazu sehr leckere regionale Küche und authentische Balkan Atmosphäre. Die Zimmer sind funktional und sauber. Wir kommen bestimmt zurück :)

Very Nice guesthouse with pool.
Reviewed By Piet dFound this guesthouse close to the Krushuna park and waterfall. Reservation over the phone was easy, mostly because I was with a fellow motorcycle rider who spoke the local language. The owner told us what address to put in the GPS and it was easy to find. The Location is Beautiful, overlooking the valley and the park. Payment was in Cash. The room was good, clean, with airco, and good bathroom. Wifi was good. And the room had a very nice balcony to sit and enjoy the view and the sunset. One reason to choose this guesthouse was : The Pool. And the pool it did not disappoint. It was 35C and we spent a good part of the afternoon submerged. Park and waterfall are an easy evening-walk away, and worth a visit. For dinner, the owner had a list of delivery-places you can call to order out, and one of those got us a good Meal. Others did the same, and we enjoyed our dinner together with other guests in the garden next to the pool. Sleep was Good, and check-out was easy. This guesthouse did not server breakfast at that time, so we used a bakery near Troyan for some local snacks. All in all a Recommended place.

Good luck finding the place
Reviewed By Fee2travelMade a reservation and used the address and coordinates given to locate on my GPS. Called from the village center on the number given to inform I would be arriving soon, was told to 'send a message'. The address given was a deserted house. Received a phone call from them to give me directions, I enquired about the address and told it was wrong! Spent 30minutes driving around the village following the 'yellow signs' which were contradictory. Gave up in the end and drove 20minutes to the nearest town and easily found a suitable family hotel (see review). This place is impossible to find if you are unable to speak Bulgarian. Shame, as the photos are so appealing.

Reviewed By batvalyoVery nice and quiet place with a wonderful holiday and a 3 star, I am very pleased. vSmall peaceful village that offers very good conditions for a family holiday, the summer offers baseyn.Staite are very spacious and clean. the first floor has a dining room and kitchen, which offers all conditions for preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner on own taste. The owners are very friendly.It can be parked in the yard.

Overcrowded, small garden, half of the building was still under construction
Reviewed By 403MileniFar away from my idea for rest and relax. When we arrived I was both shocked and appalled by the amount of guests there were in the small guest house garden. Having seen the size of the place, I literally had no idea where all those people were accommodated. Before we made our reservation I had specifically enquired if it could get very busy and I was reassured that there were only a few rooms and as we were booking two of them this wouldn't had been a problem, at all. It took us less than five minutes to determine this was certainly not what we had paid for and decided to speak with the manager. After we had explained the whole situation, he didn't even bother apologising. He also refused to return our deposit however I am glad we had walked away as this was going to be one holiday from hell. I would strongly not recommend this place if you are after a relaxing holiday.
