Cheap Chain Motel on Taoyuan MRT Line
Reviewed By padmasambhavatwMy girlfriend and I have a great time at the Allur Motel, and for its price, it was definitely cheap compared to Wego and other more famous motels in Taiwan. We made great love there, the bathtub was new and big, and we had a great time there. Hope to go there again soon. Namo Amituofo

Reviewed By pam7889Room is clean. Service is good. Not bad for the price, pretty cozy but can’t book a room through phone in the evening is quite inconvenient. If you leave a review on TripAdvisor you can park your car for free.

Awesome service in difficult times
Reviewed By Bill OI spent my 2 weeks quarentine here and I most say. Super professional, efficient, and friendly staff. Room is bright and clean. For what I thought would be difficult, as a westerner, no so much. Great experience if you can call 2 weeks isolation that. Just very nice people ?

Convenient and clean
Reviewed By 71emmaLandmark Inn is in the centre of Xinzhuang city, near to market, eateries, Church and stadium park. We requested for airport transfer. It was ever so convenient. Would strongly recommend this superb service to all. When we arrived, it was near midnight. Reception staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included (at the ‘Murano Italian Restaurant’ just 2 shops away, across a small lane). Food was quite a good variety. We’d like to commend the lady serving us. She was always smiling and warm. This made eating there very pleasant. We could really relax and enjoy ourselves. Bedding smelled fresh and clean. However, both my husband and I were disappointed with the pillows. They’re not bouncing or firm. They flatten once you lay your head on them. This spoilt our sleeping. Well, this is the only downside. It was raining one day/night. Umbrellas were provided at both Murano Restaurant and hotel. We could go about our arranged programme without the slightest disturbance. Actually, our relative was coming to bring us to visit the market nearby. It was towards the left hand side direction, upon exiting the hotel. Walk about 10 minutes and we were there; in the midst of all types of fruits, food and clothing stalls. Our aim was to buy some meat, chicken and fish floss. We found two shops selling these. Apart from this, either turning left or right from the exit will bring you to lots of places to whet your appetite. We especially favoured the 'Small Shanghai mini-soup-bun' stall. Its beef noodle (NT$90) and seafood noodle (NT$80), mini-soup-bun (NT$65) were so delicious! Once you exit the hotel, if you look left, you’ll see its big nameplate. Just walk towards it, about 20m or so, cross a traffic lights and you’ve arrived. It’s a small place with a few tables only. We were lucky to find a small table for two inside the crammed corner shop. However, we also tried the shop nextdoor, boasting of ‘boiling hot soup’ served in a small kuali. Its taste is fresh and appetizing too. We ordered a simple seafood dish which was NT$130 served with a small bowl of rice. Overall, we’d come and stay again because it’s indeed such a convenient place. The bus stop at the Stadium nearby was only 5 mins’ walk away. The metro station was slightly farther away, about 15 mins’ walk. (Hopefully by that time, the pillows have been improved….)

Okay enough but only for one or two nights

The air conditioning was too noisy and there is no isolation in the rooms, I also had problems to connect to the Internet, since Wi-Fi went down for an evening. And one day when I arrived at the hotel in the evening, the room was not made up... The location is quite good, since the metro station allows you to reach any point in Taiwan easily. However, I would not recommend the hotel for long stays, since the noise can be a problem. Breakfast was fair enough.

Worst hotel of all time
Reviewed By unicornfairyprincessPls do not book this hotel, unless you want to deliberately spoil your holiday. The entrance is tacky and really bad. On entering they asked us to change room if needed.. as if they knew, their rooms are bad and we would ask for a change.? On entering the room 6th floor, we saw some hair on the floor.. we asked for a change. we got a different room on 5th floor.. it looked shady for sure, but still took it since it was late evening and it was reserved before we entered taiwan. Being the end of December, we anticipated busy period everywhere hence thought to continue here. The room was a nightmare. There are two cupboards/drawers on either side of bed. Good luck not banging your head as you go to retreive your phone or anything kept on the bedside table.. I banged it twice and I already was battling a nasty cold ! The protruding cupboards above the bedside tables serve no purpose since they are locked, and cannot be used by guests for storage of any kind. Quite likely the hotel was some other kind of premises and then they didnt bother to refurbish correctly. There are ants and small insects walking in bathroom as well as on all the tables in the room. The bed is so hard that the very next morning, I sprang up with a bad sprain unable to walk properly. We checked out immediately, no matter the busy festive NYE period and fortunately checked in to another more expensive hotel in Taipei. That hotel was amazing with a view of the Taipei 101 right from our room ! Could even see the 101 from the sprawling bathtub from the bathroom. Avoid Wonderful hotel at all costs.. The experience is the exact opposite of its name.?

Reviewed By 哇哇 哇房間還不小,零食櫃也有不少零食,還附泡麵2碗,早餐也不錯,竟然還有放我愛的堅果類食物,只是飲料取用空間比較小,不太好拿取,而且沒有標示是什麼冷飲,要猜一下。

枕頭很硬
Reviewed By Chingleeching枕頭是羽毛的，但非常硬，早上起床，脖子僵硬到一個不行。睡習慣記憶枕的人，真不習慣。棉被是床罩加一層被單，開冷氣睡，真的會冷。只能休息，住宿真的不行，這只是這間旅館給我的感覺，不代表一切，也許有人喜歡硬枕頭跟薄床罩

Breakfast is served, discreetly via an enclosed cabinet to minimise disturbances. Only setback, a little off from the tourist spots.
