Reviewed By Michelle CHelpful on-site reception staff. Lovely building. Well kept grounds. Free car park. Beautiful pool with jacuzzi area. Plenty of sun beds in a range of areas to suit all. The sea is in view from all areas. Breakfast is variable all good quality. Room service is good. Unless you have a car travel can be a problem as public transport leaves a lot to be desired. I would revisit.

Reviewed By Matija86We had a wonderful time in Olympia Sky. The room was neat with a beautiful sea view. The staff was kind. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. We also liked the private use of the sauna. The indoor pool is another big advantage especially when the weather is not so nice outside. The massage was another big plus.

Great location to watch the sunset. The good in restaurants- not many options but was great. Not much to do in the town. Come here to enjoy the ocean

An unpleasant and stressful stay
Reviewed By Vicky SWe stayed last week in this hotel. It was disappointing. No sea view. The food was average and unimaginative. The deserts were tasteless. It was an extremely noisy hotel. There was a congress of lawyers staying. They were very noisy and inconsiderate and obviously hadn’t studied noise nuisance yet on their course. They were all staying in a separate block and were singing shouting and chanting until 4.00 in the morning. Many guests complained and asked the management to deal with the noise but to no avail. We were all kept awake all night. This was not a holiday. Never stay at this hotel if you want some peace .

We stayed here for 2 weeks in August, the hotel was new, had only been open for 2 or 3 weeks so everything was very clean and new. The staff could not do enough for you, they are a credit to the hotel. The pool area is amazing, staff are attentive and the food is very good. It has a nice little gym area and motorised scooters for hire. Within walking distance of the Marina, shops and restaurants. Spacious apartments within the hotel, with big balcony. We booked for next year as soon as we got home, highly recommended.

Stay in high season
Reviewed By Elise MWe booked to stay over low season. The location is far out of town so we had to drive to local restaurants. It wasn't very busy at the hotel and felt a bit like a ghost town. Signs indicated a strict policy against bringing outside food and drink. We booked for the sea view and to enjoy wine on our balcony. Breakfast was an average affair with food tasting 1 day old and this may have been due to lack of guests. I think if you came in high season it would be a hive of activity and worth a stay. The staff are friendly, rooms clean and pool is a plus.

Reviewed By uf07777We recently stayed for 8 nights at punta hotel . We booked ALL INCLUSIVE, was shocked to be told on check in drinks only at meal times. The weather was very hot 29 ° bit was told the air con was not on would be on sometime in JUNE! The room was unbearably hot which left us having no choice but to leave the balcony door AND the main door to the room open all night to get some air which led to masses of mosquito bites and a trip to the pharmacy. . The restaurant was sooo hot and uncomfortable, we went to open the door to let some air in as all door were closed and windows, only to be told by the waitresses NO it has to be kept closed the management have said. The only possible reason we could think of for this is to get you out as soon as possible so you wouldn't consume many FREE DRINKS ! We complained to reception then was allowed to open the door, When we booked we expected The Sky lounge to be as amazing as it looked in the ad pics. Didn't know where it was so ventured to the top floor ,found it, A delapitated mess of a chained up room . Confronted reception and asked where it was only to be told its no longer open and has been closed for 3 years! Yet still advertising it in the pics as well as travel companies listing. We ended up booking a nearby apartment. For 1 night just to get some sleep in a cool room. The hotel needs lots of redecorating and some kiind of outside space which it hasn't got. See the pics of the Skye Lounge closed for 3 years and travel companies and the Hotel still advertising it as open

Poor value for money
Reviewed By Andrea GThe reception personnel is helpful and polite but the restaurant staff is awful. A couple of times they served us dessert during the main course, also they took us main course while we were still eating it but turned to salad at the moment. During our stay (7 days), we would pick between 3 dinner dishes for the for the next day. It was always pizza which is fine, the rest is basic (usually pork and some form of potatoes). Small portions, taste okeish, presentation horror. Selection of food for breakfast is fine, but the salami and cheese were left at the table which is not cooled so they would get all greasy, fruit is a bit old, caffee - the cheapest kind. Rooms are small but relatively tidy. Could be cleaned better. The walls are so thin you could practically hear the person in the next room breathe. Poll is nice.
