Reviewed By 616reubenfI am a very regular patron at The Hills Lodge for many years now. In fact, I stay there so frequent, you could say it’s my second home. I live in Port Macquarie however I have a well established business in Sydney with a office located at Bella Vista. I travel down to Sydney at least every second week and in some cases every week. Being such a regular traveller to Sydney it is very important for me to stay somewhere I feel comfortable, looked after and at home. I want to express that the staff at The Hills lodge have made me feel all these things and more as they are always very friendly accommodating and helpful. There is one staff member however I feel stands above the rest, and is one of the main reasons I continue to return and stay at The Hills lodge. That person is the Facilities Manager Chris Davis. I have stayed in basically every luxury hotel in Sydney and I cannot say I have experienced the same level of service that I get from Chris. Chris has always made it his goal to ensure, I as the customer is completely satisfied with such attention to detail. Chris has made it is job to know exactly what I need to make me feel at home for example which room types I like or what type of pillows I like. Chris knows I like the fan in my room, he knows I like bottled water in my room for when I go to the gym. All this is prepared in my room before I arrive without me even asking. I have always felt well looked after and accommodated which gives me such relief when I stay. These little things and attention to detail make my constant travelling away from home much more pleasurable and the reason I continue to stay at The Hills Lodge.

Nice hotel in good location for our visit
Reviewed By FooWinGreat that it's near a shopping centre with Woolies and BWS, plus cafe and a couple of takeaways. Also a good restaurant nearby Nice spacious room, clean, good facilities with mini kitchen and good size bar fridge. Pity the bar/cafe on the premises was closed.

Reviewed By Di HNice enough room but could have been cleaner. I found dirty socks behind the curtains when I pulled them back. Room service was not available for breakfast on the second morning. Reception staff were not friendly or welcoming. There was no 'hello' or 'goodbye, have a nice night'. I expect more from a Mercure.

This hotel needs some love, the Staff are amazing but the Hotel needs work, I had two single beds pushed together both uneven heights, no movie channels unless you pay for them, my TV had a line going through the middle of it when you turned it on, shower running into the bath, foam came out of the drain when I washed my hair. My room service arrived cold the first two nights, probably because the staff where under the pump, over a hour wait for Dinner. One washing machine/dryer to use for the whole hotel??? Management need to do a serious revamp.

Reviewed By therichmonds2427Take cleaning items with you! Whilst location is fine, we found the unsanitary conditions in the shower, on the lounge furniture and in the car park utterly disgusting. We definitely have higher standards. This hotel is not befitting of its Castle Hill location.

Reviewed By janine mThe best thing about Ingenia was driving past it to anywhere else. Very tired holiday park, barely friendly staff, poorly maintained, average place to stay. Highlight was a good hot shower. Not alot of choices at Dural for places to stay. The drive out from Sydney airport was better than our stay at Ingenia Holiday Park.

And if you have no one to share the cart with it will cost you an additional $25! A complete rip off. Course conditioning, service and facilities is not worthy of these prices.
