The huge palm garden, the well-kept pools and, above all, the beach are simply indescribable. And what I especially want to mention is the incredibly friendly staff here at Coco Grove. Ever since I first came here, I've always been taken care of by the same friendly people. Kudos and thanks to the crew at Coco Grove - they make you feel at home every day. Sure, you can find more luxurious hotels with 5, 6 or even 7 stars... but you certainly won't find another Coco Grove.

All basic ameneties were there tho I hope they update their hair dryer to a newer one. Aircon was also a bit noisy and the pillows were small. Overall though, I felt very safe and comfortable

Reviewed By kaw27Enjoyed our 5 day stay at this resort..check in was a breeze. Staff is helpful and efficient. Fast wifi too especially for my son's online school. Restaurant food is okay. Strong cocktails excellent. Well maintained beach front they clean it. Sea is low tide in most part of the day when we stayed. Love the resident dogs.

Reviewed By AkoSiAysWe had a lovely stay! The beach front cottages are nice and you can enjoy the lovely view of the beach especially at sunset. You have to go downhill though to reach it from the main entrance. We stayed at the hut at the end of the property. It's really quiet and nice. It's old though and would be nice to get renovated. The beach ia not really for swimming as it is shallow but good enough to stroll around. The staff are really friendly and the food they serve is quite good. However, you really need to have the time as they tale their time cooking it. Better yet, pre-order it so you save some time waiting.

I cannot commend enough how excellent the service is, the lovely staff and the hands on owners who made sure we have everything we need. The serene beachside view, lovely dogs and of course the Japanese food. THANK YOU SO MUCH,MR HANADA for the warmest welcome! Highly recomemended hotel!

Since we were looking for vegetarian food, and its hard to find it in Philippines, they guided us to the nearby restaurants where we can get what we need. They provide free breakfast and to accommodate our request of vegetarian food, they provided us with juice and fruits. Rented a scooter for local tour. The price was reasonable and one of the staff member marked important places on my map with directions. Overall, would recommend if you are looking for a cheap and decent stay.

Reviewed By _ishantotsWe stayed for 3 days and 2 night and it was good. The room was pretty ok but not exceptional. Enough for you to have a comfortable sleep at night. The place were pretty old and needs improvement but the staff were nice and exceptional; they were friendly and accommodating.

Reviewed By Magdalena PTagbalayon has two locations, the main one where there are dorms, restaurant, reception and the other one (about 50 m distance) where they have an awesome garden where the cottages are located. We stayed in one of the cottages. The room was clean, spacious and there was a very nice rain shower in the bathroom, no problem with water pressure at all. There is daily room service and clean towels are provided. The location couldn't be better. It is right in front of Coco Grove which is what I heard the most popular resort on the island, so you may just go there have breakfast but stay at Tagbalayon that is so nice and much cheaper! Walk distance to the beach (perfect snorkeling spot!!) about 150 m. Apart from being a guesthouse, Tagbalayon has its own restaurant and the food is very good, the prices are very reasonable. I uploaded a picture of the menu. Thai chicken curry was my favorite. The staff is super nice and friendly! Tagbalayon offers to pick up and drop off at the port. They have a laundry service and you may order a traditional massage. There is everything you need.

The place is so peaceful and quiet. The owner is well accommodating. The food is delicious. Trust me at the rate of P1500/room/night is really worth it. Love: Jebsen and Amber
