We interacted with Pablo at reception and Mari Carmen for breakfast! They were extremely helpful and kind! The spa and the hot whirlpool in the room were simply breathtaking, on top of this we had a wonderful panoramic view in our terrace in a beautiful junior suite very spacious and extremely clean. At 50m from the hotel we had a super casino Admiral and we felt lucky enough to win some extra cash, it was a very high vibe detail. So our overall experience was delightfully pleasant! Great location, great room, perfect view, a stay to remember! I totally recommend it with all my heart!

The rooms are basic but comfortable and its a perfect no fills place to crash if you want to ski. Breakfast, again was basic, but perfectly adequate and we'll definitely return :)

Well Placed Location Great Breakfast Onsite Parking Pricey

This hotel is very convenient for the lifts, parking access and all the other amenities in the centre of town and also easy to find. English was good on reception and they were very helpful. My room had no view and was overlooked by the buildings above so quite dim. Typical of hotels to put a single traveller in a poor quality room! Also a little tired with scuffed furniture and old looking towels. That said the room was scrupulously clean and a good size with storage and a big bathroom, very comfortable bed. You also get a ski locker downstairs in a heated room. There are plenty of bars and a great wellness complex. But during the holidays it is overrun with kids. The buffet breakfast was outstanding. I stayed at Easter and it was pretty busy. I felt it was a little overpriced especially with the cost of parking additional. But this hotel is a solid choice for convenience for everything at the resort.

Nice but dim

Amazing location. Friendly 4 star service in the Ski hire shop. Ski in Ski out convenience. Brilliant ! Unfortunately this is a 2 star hotel masquerading as a 4 star. My experience is that if it wasn't for its position it would be gone. The service , whilst amusing, is truly Fawlty Towers. Nice people but absolutely no clue. No commercial awareness whatsoever. I was part of a group of 20 that spent thousands over a weekend. I asked for a brandy and the young man brought me a bacardi white rum. He actually didn't know what a brandy was.4 star ? Breakfast was a comedy of errors. If I got into specifics I'd be typing all day. Sprained my knee so decide to stay an extra night and despite the thousands spent over the weekend, when I asked at reception for their best price for an extra night their quote was 20 euros higher than Bookings or Trip advisor , who as entities , had no idea how much we'd spent over the previous 2 days. Whilst at reception ( ie on the ground ) they did. In summary - great location but massively over priced. Stuck in the past methinks.

Awesome ski trip!

Reviewed By Jorge A

I have stayed at the Melia Sol y Nieve before, and I keep coming back when I can because it is such a great place to stay. This time was a 5 days ski trip with my best buddy, no wives. We booked separate comfortable and luxurious Level rooms which included daily breakfast, access to the Level Adults Only lounge, limited time at the fantastic spa water circuit & pool; and a locker for ski equipment. As it has been in my past stays, the service and quality was excellent. The hotel location allows great access to the ski lifts, tapas bars, restaurants, and shops. The staff provided excellent service as usual, from the cook at the lounge restaurant, to room service, but specially Carolina - Personal Relations and Marina with the check-in at the Level lounge; and last but not least Arturo at the bar. Many thanks to the hotel staff again for the great service. We look forward to coming back again in the future.
