Well known for excellent cuisine and a good selected wine-list in a pleasant atmosphere. Wireless Wi-Fi is available and free of charge in all the rooms. In summer including all the cable cars and buses in the Saas Valley (except summer skiing). It is situated opposite the golf course, a football field and the tennis, volleyball and basketball courts. We please you with a wonderful view, in a very prime location.

Our hotel is a family-run three star hotel Superior with an excellent infrastructure set in the pictoresque village of Saas Almagell (10 minutes away from Saas-Fee). We are located at the beginning of the village on a quiet spot near by the bus stop. The hotel has 55 rooms with shower/WC, balcony, direct dialling phone, SAT-TV/Radio, safe, (comfortably furnished). We are aple to accommodate 100 - 110 guests. Our Restaurant shall provide you a high standard, gourmet and fine cuisine within elegant atmosphere. An aboundand Buffet allows you to enjoy your breakfast at will. Our Chef daily prepares a 4 courses half-board menu (2 starters, on choice, main course and dessert). 2 dining-rooms, 2 lounges with open fireplaces, bar in the basement, sauna, jacuzzi, solarium, steam-bath, tepidarium, fitness-local, ping-pong room, 2 ski rooms and lift. We may also offer you a conference room. Wireless-LAN free of charge with fast DSL is available in the lounge and all rooms. The ski-bus-stop to Saas Fee and Saas Grund is just in front of the our house. We may even offer a free bus service to the slopes of Saas Almagell by our hotel taxi.

It is still nice but dated and the only competent service is to be found at the front desk. restaurant service is poor and waiters seem to be always an bad mood. Restaurant menu is also quite poor and the cook is not really good.The rooms are big and clean but tend to be overheated. if you have the choice just skip this place.

Of course, the basics are there: clean, modern rooms, all what’s needed for a stay. This time we especially enjoyed the dinners: we do like good food... what we experienced in Alpenhof, was not just good food, it was a real gourmet 5 stars dinner every evening ! And for a very fare price ! If you like good food and good wine, I would strongly recommend to visit hotel Alpenhof. In addition, what we enjoy is friendliness and hospitality of the hotel owners. We always feel there at home and want to return back.

Reviewed By Nomad281664We travelled as a family of 5 and received the most wonderful welcome. The hotel is run by Franziska and has been in her family for years. Everything is done with real care and attention and children receive a warm welcome with the added bonus of the kids club where they are looked after fondly by the lovely Tina with daily activities. The hotel is well located, just a short walk into the village and to the piste but there is a very handy shuttle bus service for guests. We really did have a great stay at such an authentic Swiss family hotel.

Reviewed By martinmm19Friendl, family run hotel. Quiet room, good bed. Excellent separate wellness area. Good breakfast and dinners. The only 2 complaints are: - major: internet is unstable, disconnects very often and stays out for 5 minutes or more - minor: why is there no table on the balcony?!

Reviewed By sonja pHotel Alpha is located near the main bus stop at the post office. From here all the Saas valley ski areas are easily to be reached: by buss, by car or by foot. The Citizenpass (Burgerpass) gives free access to all busses in Saastal The rooms in the hotel are basic and comfortable: very well isolated (no noise from neighbours), good bed, good shower, nice balcony on the southside. Rooms at 3rd & 4th floor are already renovated (dec 17) 2nd and 1st floor but rooms are convenient. Food is excellent. Staff is very service minded and friendly. Am bience is friendly and charming. Free WIFI available. Silvesterdiner and evening were superbe !

Reviewed By OrlandoM815This garni is a real shame for the Swiss hotel industry and I would recommend everyone to avoid it. It is dirty, the manager promised a partner restaurant which was closed. So we ate in a playroom with the only take-away in Saas-Fee. The breakfast is a shame too... and we are in a bakery. This was our very last stay here.
