Good Location with indoor pool
Reviewed By loper18I frequently visit the Lancaster area and this is my first time staying at the La Quinta in Ronks, PA. The hotel is in a great location just minutes away from everything. It is also situated right near a farm which is very pretty to look at. The hotel rooms were standard, nothing fancy however they were clean. The indoor pool is great for travelers with children and though the breakfast is not a hot one, it still had bagels, muffins,cereal and a pancake station which was more than enough options for my children and myself. The only downside is staying on the first floor where the pets are. Though the room was not dirty, the pet smell was still prevalent throughout it and in the hallway. Also you can hear dogs barking which can be bothersome at times. Overall I would return to this hotel my next time in Ronks and I will ask to stay the 2nd or 3rd floor.

We are just down the road from the country towns of BIRD IN HAND and INTERCOURSE, and only minutes away from the Rockvale outlets, amusement parks, Amish tours, historical sites, Lancaster County's famous PA Dutch restaurants, Sight & Sound Millennium Theatre and much, much more.
Close to the area we wanted to explore. Breakfast was handy and hot. Bed was fantastic. We slept very well.

Reviewed By SolylunaMy family and I stayed two nights at Eastbrook Inn. We took too long to decide where to go and ended up booking here as our usual hotel was full. We had stayed at the Eastbrook Inn twice in the past, many years ago. We remembered the motel to be a value motel but clean and in good condition. We then confronted the reality of the Eastbrook Inn 2022. Scratches over the walls, peeling paint, a missing smoke detector, the stuffy air like the window has not been opened in years. Interestingly, the bolt to lock the door from the inside was missing a piece so it was not possible to lock from inside at night. Ok, not a nice looking motel but we agreed to let it go because the idea is just to spend the night here. But then we started to notice hairs all over the bathroom. On the bathrooms wall and on the bathtub. Behind the nightstand there were chips and a soda bottle cap. When was the last time this room had been thoroughly cleaned?? Not to mention the hairs in the bathroom, which should have been removed after the last guest left! Needless to say we didn’t feel comfortable in this motel. Will never stay here again. Value doesn’t mean dirty.

Forgotten Handicap
Reviewed By wandal875Stayed here for a long weekend with my elderly mother-in law and friends. Very dissatisfied with the accommodations for the handicap room. The hotel is old and the wooden luggage rack hopefully has seen better days.. very rickety. I wouldn’t assume that all handicapped or disabled clients are wheelchair bond. That had to be the reason for the room setup. One computer chair no other seating except the beds. One mirror in the bathroom.. only the bottom half was cleaned. The closet had a waste high level hanging pole which again insinuated all handicapped clients must be in wheelchairs. If that were so is it taken for granted that the handicap travel alone? Does anyone in this franchise consider the caregiver accompanying a disabled or handicapped person? The pool was located on the first floor in the rear of the building in a very humid room. The deep end was 4 feet 3 inches and the length was what I suspect less than the standard 30 feet. The gym was a small room off of the pool room with two stationary bikes and one treadmill that did not work. The price of stay was rather steep for the poor accommodations. The only positive was the location in regards to the Sight and Sound theater. That’s probably the reason they could get away with this price. I would not recommend staying at this place and will not stay here again even if I had the inconvenience of driving an additional fifty miles or so outside of Ronks, Pennsylvania to attend the Sight and Sound Theater. Very disappointed!!

Overpriced for Condition of Hotel
Reviewed By Karen SWe stayed at this property a few years ago. It was clean and a fair price. We returned this weekend, and the property needs a major overhaul. The only good thing I can say is the carpet in the rooms have been replaced with vinyl wood planks. The toilet wouldn't flush, and the sink was cracked. The towels felt like sandpaper. The doors into the building are supposed to be locked after hours and only opened with a room key but both evenings we came back that wasn't the case. There are lots of other hotels in Lancaster to choose from. We spent some time scouting out other hotels so we know what we are getting for our money next time we visit.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

She booked it for two night ( We were going to Sight and Sound) She stayed the first night and my husband and I were to stay the second night ( She was visiting friend an hour away) I walk into the office and ask about her key to the room she had left at the front desk. The ( heavily accented) gentle asked if my sister was returning I ask no. He then charges me a 9 dollar room transfer fee...copies my license. Hands me the key without ever giving me change for my ten. We go to the room number...open the door and wham...stench ( mold, mildew) hits me. As I am looking up a different place to slept for the night ...its becoming harder and harder for me to breathe. I had get out of there...I couldn't take a deep breathe at this point. We go back to the office drop off the key and leave ....the next day this same guy calls my sister and tries to blame HER because she didn't ask for the room to be cleaned after she left. lol cheap yes...usable no. find any other place to crash...Not the Red Carpet Inn. Good Luck If you have children or any sort of lung issue please stay somewhere else.

It is supposedly a smoke-free property but our room (21) reeked of cigarette smoke, Even the bathroom towels smelled of it. This room (maybe the entire place) needs a deep cleaning, new carpets and painting, etc. to get rid of the smell. We should have walked away but it was too late by the time we noticed this.
