no hot water. front desk staff kept on lying one after another.
Reviewed By d240ithe room was clean with some "personal" touches such as making toilet paper into flowers on top of the roll. however, the front desk staff was truly pathetic. kept on lying one after another. when we checked in, we were given a 2nd floor room. we asked if we could have a first floor room, the staff said there were no rooms available. all full. I had to raise eyebrows because there were a total of 14 vehicles for a 99 unit accommodation. see pictures of empty parking spaces at 11:30 pm. next morning, we discovered that there was no hot water. let the shower run for 30 minutes. still no hot water. the very same front desk staff told me that all rooms have hot water. and for me to turn all the way to red dot. i told him that's what we did. and I asked him to come up to the room to see for himself. guess what? he sent one of the housekeepers who couldn't speak or read english instead. when i came back again, he said that maintenance is on their way. we had only 30 minutes before check out time. i told him that he could offered to change rooms when he learned of this, but he said he would have changed if we told him last night. what? we didn't shower last night, but tried to shower this morning. upon check out, i told him that it was one of worst Motel 6 stays that we have experienced. he asked me for my phone number for the manager to call us, which never happened. so much dishonesty all around thus 1 star.

We got there and it was stuffy and they told us they only allow the air conditioning until certain months. It's June! The rooms are older and dark, and do not look like the pictures online. The worst part is that a man stood in our doorway, waiting for us to pack up at 9:00am, so they could start cleaning. We had to have the door open due to how hot the room was when we woke up. When we went to talk to the owner, the girl up front said he wasn't there, but we saw him walking away. Really disappointed in this place.

My car broke down and I had to stay in Rock Spring for 2 extra days than expected - Baymont Inn (specifically Lana) was very accommodating and helped me find a room over the extended period I was stuck. I am very thankful and would definitely recommend staying at Baymont Inn!

Reviewed By awaywebeI have been staying at this property since it was first built. Beautiful at first, but poor upkeep. Hampton's new dog policy is going to cost them my business. The young lady who checked me in was great. Friendly and helpful. She said their dog policy required guests to keep them on a leash. "If you see someone in noncompliance please let us know" Okay, the next morning when I go down to get breakfast there is a rude guy with his unleashed dog in the food area. I go to the front desk and tell them and they say "What do you want us to do?" Really?? How about enforce the rules. I will try to find a better property in Rock Springs!

Great Hotel, Subpar Customer Service
Reviewed By melissacD2367TSUnimpressed with the customer service. Otherwise, a great hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, with good WiFi, and centrally located to all our needs. The made to order omelet's made the breakfast adequate. On our last day, we went down to breakfast at 6am. One of the kitchen staff saw us as she wheeled out the omelet equipment. Then she disappeared and left us standing there. After waiting for over 20 minutes, I went to the front desk to make sure breakfast still started at 6am, was told yes and that everything I saw there was all that was available. I told her no one was there to cook omelets. Her response? "She's probably in back chopping vegetables." This lady (the shift manager?) couldn't be bothered to walk from the back office to the front desk to 1) speak with me, or 2) go check on the situation. She appeared to be busy putting on her shoes while we spoke. She was more concerned with doing whatever it was she was doing, than a missing omelet cook or that a customer had been waiting nearly half an hour for breakfast. My husband had to walk into the back area to speak to the veggie chopper and she came out and cooked our omelet's. She didn't speak English and seemed really stressed that the regular cook wasn't there; she did a great job given the circumstances. We were half way through our breakfast when the lady at the front desk finally came to the breakfast area to let the other lady know the omelet cook's alarm didn't go off and she was on her way. Our only good customer service came from another lady who was at the front desk when we checked out. She was the only front desk staff that was friendly, smiled at us, and didn't act like we were bothering her. I wish I had gotten her name because she should train the rest of the staff on basic customer service skills, like smiling, being friendly, and acting interested.

Was allowed to bring boards in breakfast area and throw some bags as there were others staying there that were attending the tournament

Reviewed By Z5952RQjasonmA clean and good sized room, nice pool and hot tub, a great/well stocked breakfast - we had few complaints about this hotel. About the only issue was the turn for the hotel was not well marked - and the hot tub was just OK (no bubble jets?). We stayed 2 nights and I would consider staying again for the same price which was a good deal.

Reviewed By bryanl342Always good place to stay, that is why I stick with IHG when I can. Nice to relax in spa after long day on the road. Rooms always nice, staff very friendly and breakfast is good. Only thing I have to complain about was being woke up at 8:40 am by housekeeping! Oh well, gave me time to get breakfast.

The desk clerks were very helpful on other aspects as well. I would stay at this hotel again. The price was reasonable and rooms were great for the accommodations I needed.
