Reviewed By 676mich_lepLovely hotel with a professional friendly welcome, service throughout our stay was excellent. Well situated to explore the rest of the island. The room was small but it didn't matter as the bed was big and comfortable, very clean. Swimming pool perfect temperature. Delicious breakfast buffet with bacon pancakes and maple syrup, homemade jams and lots more to choose from!

The facilities are good, a large play area for children, a swimming pool, superb walking from the site. A good base to explore the island. The mobile homes are clean and in good overall condition, if rather cramped. You definitely need one with a terrace! The accommodation lacks any comfort- seating is poor, lighting is bright and clinical, the WC is very small and so are are the bedrooms. Softer lighting, especially bed side lights would be a great improvement but overall I did not think the internal design was very good. I used to have a touring caravan which was more spacious and more comfortable.

L’hôtel a commencé sa rénovation en 2019 et aujourd’hui la totalité des chambres ont été entièrement rénovées afin de vous offrir de belles prestations et un séjour agréable. C’est l’endroit idéal pour passer vos vacances en bord de mer, l’hôtel étant situé en face de la plage. Vous pourrez également profiter d’une piscine chauffée et d’un jacuzzi tout au long de votre séjour. Suivant les conditions météorologiques, vous pourrez aussi bénéficier de l’accès à la piscine couverte chauffée et au jacuzzi de notre autre établissement, l’Hôtel de La Marée, situé lui aussi à Rivedoux Plage. Les 30 chambres de l’hôtel sont toutes dotées d’une salle de bain privative, de la climatisation, d’une télévision à écran plat, d’un coffre fort et d’une connexion wi-fi gratuite. La plupart d’entre elles comprennent un balcon avec la vue sur la mer ou des portes fenêtres avec terrasse donnant sur la piscine.
Gorgeous little friendly hotel - in a beautiful location
Reviewed By klaklaklaklaklaPerfectly located, 30 seconds from the beach and a little beach cafe for cheap lunches. 2 minutes to a fabulous beach bar for snacks and watersports. Lovely friendly helpful staff, immaculate pool and public areas. Room opened on to terrace and pool. Bike hire straight from the hotel-no need to pre book, best prices around. In my opinion staying in Rive-doux is the best option on the island as you will be the first stop after the bridge by bus, or cheapest by taxi, it is a chilled out beachy town with lovely little cafes, bars and restaurants. You can explore the whole island from here - cycle to La Flotte, Saint -Martin and many other little stop offs within half an hour - or jump on the 1 euro bus for further trips - maybe to the light house at the other end of the Island - beautiful! effective air conditioning in the rooms, hair dryer in the room too. The attached restaurant is brilliant too - lovely evening meal and breakfast. A must is a visit to The Plage restaurant, fifteen minutes walk back toward the bridge - excellent food and live music - amazing host too. Cannot wait to return to this hotel. Our first trip was delightful and memorable thanks to our attentive hosts who couldn't have been more welcoming. Our one bedroom studio "Salicorne" was on the end and featured a compact, well equipped high end kitchen diner overlooking the pool and garden. Huge bed was very comfy, gorgeous shower and tub. One of those places where you can tell a lot of love and care has been taken with decor and finishes. Clean and lovely. I'm picky and I wouldn't hesitate booking again. We both said this is where we would have chosen to be locked down if we couldn't get out of France!

La chambre est vraiment à côté de la plage, la nuit on entend le bruit des vagues, super déco raffinée et très propre. Petit déjeuner bon,copieux de produits frais … Nous reviendrons !

Reviewed By Denise MStayed here for 3 nights and although it is quirky and has potential unfortunately it has been left to rack and ruin. Weeds growing everywhere, none of the solar lights working, fences falling apart. Also be very careful of the swing very unstable and dangerous. Wouldn't stay here again.
