Reviewed By OnAir27791288942Fantastic stay, comfortable rooms in a newer house on a quiet road. Owner is fantastic, long term resident of the area, knowledgeable about the park, area and an all around nice person. Great breakfast and dinner! Close to the park as well ( 5 min)

Reviewed By majah911We stayed at tree house and although it was raining the whole stay, didn't regret for a minute. Tree house is cute, view from the window amazing. Two rooms, two bathrooms, little terrace beneath the house. Everyone was very friendly, nice. Food was great. Surrounding is very maintained and amazing. Would definitely come again just to chill and relax.

We actually went to park first thing in the morning, back to hotel when park got busy and then shot back down to park in the evening. What a great, hardworking staff. Hotel was immaculate, gardens were beautiful and well kept. Honestly, they couldn't seem to do enough for us! Definitely recommend

They own a lovely property with spacious rooms and outdoor space. The breakfast was plentiful and the various fruit breads were delicious. The proximity to the entrance of the park was also a great advantage. I strongly recommend this delightful place.

Reviewed By stefaniaspinaI agree entirely with Pedrocorreto. We chose this hotel for its wonderful 50s design amidst the wondering setting of the lakes national park. We indulged ourselves in a suite which was an oasis of calm. Solid and unpretentious. Sadly there is no air conditioning but opening our balcony door helped. The hotel is kept spotlessly clean. The staff are extremely pleasant and could not be more helpful. The buffet breakfast includes a good selection of hot and cold food, tea and coffee and service is with a smile. A recent decision - post covid- has been not to open the restaurant for dinner but there are options nearby. Regrettably there are plans to reduce the number of bedrooms and turn it into yet another 'boutique' hotel starting the end of this year. My advice would be to GO NOW! and to take advantage of seeing the waterfalls before the day trippers arrive - i.e. at before breakfast at 7am and after 3pm.

Reviewed By heidi bWe stayed at Breza for two nights and wished we had booked for longer. Natasha and her family make you feel extremely welcome and relaxed, nothing is too much trouble for them. The room was clean and had everything you needed. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was amazing. The property is in the park, therefore it's beautifully quiet, with fabulous views of the stars at night. The food was the best we have had in Croatia, home raised lamb , fish and mixed grills with fresh home grown veggies. The desserts were also delicious Natasha provides a substantial and tasty breakfast, with enough to make sandwiches and snacks for lunch. The Croatian doughnuts were also delicious. There is an excellent choice of drinks and local wines to accompany you meal. Access to the park is quick and easy. We will return.

Reviewed By ifcaaaThis is already my fourth time in Fenomen resort so that says a lot. Perfect place in the middle if Plitvice lakes, surrendered by nature, trees, lakes and peace. If you want to have a little getaway from the everyday crowds and rush, this is the perfect place, honestly. I always like to come back. This time we even tried the food in their restaurant Kozjak and it was amazing- we had a glass of red wine, lamb chops with peas and filet mignon with potatoes and mushrooms, it was so good we had to try the dessert as well. Their panna cotta and brownie cake were delightful! Just perfect!

Grubby and dated
Reviewed By Bethany CUnfortunately Plitvice Lakes doesn’t have a great selection of hotels. If you can travel here for the day and then leave that would be best! The rooms here are very dated and smell damp, the bathroom shower was very high to climb into and splashed the entire bathroom. We didn’t have any towels upon arrival and had to call for some. The front desk staff were rude, when we asked about a shuttle to the bus stop we received attitude about the “700 meter walk”. While the walk isn’t necessarily fair, with suitcases and poor weather, the trek from the bus stop up stairs and across gravel to the hotel with no directional signage was challenging. We were lucky to find a lovely front desk worker the morning of check out who introduced us to the shuttle driver! Hurrah! The restaurant had great food and service, looks very high quality, but all guests arrived in casual gear. Seemed very odd to have a ‘posh’ restaurant in a hiking area that guests aren’t prepared to dress for. We didn’t use the sauna after seeing the room, our expectations were low unfortunately.

Reviewed By Igi sThe hotel is located close to plitvice park. Rooms are comfortable, very clean and actually look as new. The owner and the stuff are very friendly. Breakfast was very good. Diner in place is also possible. Dinner was ok but with a bit limited choice. A good place to be in if you visit the park or just passing by.
