Reviewed By Nairda TWonderful walks, views and history. A genuine pleasure to visit. The chateau is picture postcard perfect, the grounds and country walks are manicured and beautuful, the panoramic view over the Roc au Chien shows Bagnoles de Lorne in its glory. Wonderful.

A very pleasing stay
Reviewed By Jennifer GWhile a little close to the coast to make an ideal first night in France for those on a leisurely schedule this is an splendid place to stay. While our bedroom was slightly old-fashioned and the lift is definitely old style French Hotel this did not detract from the Manoir’s charm. The Manoir is in a wooded area just out of town and is set in a delightful garden with some very interesting plants. The public rooms (which are not in the least old-fashioned) have good views over the garden. The staff are very friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our dinner (though you probably have to like mushrooms) and the wine list is very interesting. Breakfast was spectacular with an amazing range of home-made items ( I have never seen my husband eat chocolate cake for breakfast before) and meant lunch was not required. Overall definitely five star

Reviewed By freshairfanWe loved our stay at this beautiful hotel, and recommend it highly. The bed was really comfortable and the room was quiet, so we slept very well. We ordered both breakfast and dinner in our room (since we aren't eating inside restaurants during the pandemic) and the food was excellent. It's a perfect location, too, to explore the lovely town of Mortagne-au-Perche. The staff were friendly and polite. In brief, we would be delighted to return and recommend this establishment to any who want to visit Le Perche.

Reviewed By 408annefoverpriced, not worth it. arrogant employees in hotel, restaurant and spa who prefersto chat among themselves and laugh behind the back of customers rather than help. and no respect for capacity rules during Covid, way too many people in indoor pool and spa facility, no control, no masks. very disappointing experience, I do not recommend.

Restricted car paces outside, although the hotel staff recommend alternatives, but all car parks are free Sundays. Basic but clean rooms which I found quiet. Good breakfast selection. Alencon is a delightful town to wander through. A visit to the Lace Museum was well worth it, stunning displays of this towns important trade.

Reviewed By Jim SConveniently situated for all of Bagnoles attractions. Our room was recently renovated, large and with a balcony overlooking the town. Excellent restaurant with efficient service and well prepared food. Free WIFI. Stayed there several times and would recommend.

Air conditioner was not working and would only blow warm air. Unable to comment on Restaurant as it was completely booked for evening meal, however a good restaurant 300 meters away.

Reviewed By Peter LThis is a very convenient stopover if one is driving south. Near the motorway, with free parking and a restaurant. Clean and quiet and cheap petrol just down the road! The staff were efficient and courteous. What’s not to like?
