Reviewed By HTJ360They were out of butter and coffee creamer and the breakfast left a lot to be desired because there was NO butter and I do not drink BLACK coffee. The room needed a good professional cleaning of the couch, carpet, tables (tops dusty and sticky), cabinet doors (sticky), lamps and shades (very dusty), clock radio (very dusty), and microwave (splatter inside). It appears as though the room was NEVER dusted. It was really thick and bad under the microwave. I took a large napkin and when I was done doing their job, it was very dirty and black on over half the napkin. Have experts check the A/C system so that the rooms do not feel damp all the time.

Awesome in Some Areas - Not so Great in Others.
Reviewed By TLBowmanI chose this hotel due to it's reviews. Myself and my daughter were attending her father's funeral and needed something last minute. I will start by saying that the staff was fantastic. Truly. I don't think I met an unkind person the entire time. Our room was room 340. On the surface it looked very nice. However, when we walked into the room, we could smell popcorn. We checked the microwave and there was nothing in it. So we started putting our clothes away. I opened the top drawer in the dresser and found a bag of half eaten popcorn. As we were putting away more items in the night stand, we found an empty chip bag. Obviously the housekeeper did not do a very through job of cleaning the room. The bags were not shoved to the back of the drawers but instead were right in the front and had the housekeeper opened the drawers, they would have seen it. At zero point should any guest find trash in what is supposed to be a cleaned room. I called the front desk and the clerk offered to move us. I did look at the other room, but my daughter was exhausted and just wanted to stay where she was. The desk clerk was very apologetic and said that she would speak to housekeeping. I had no other issues with the room. Breakfast was another matter altogether. One of the reasons I chose this particular hotel, other than the reviews, was because it offered a "hot breakfast." I am not sure if Covid is the reason for the disaster that they referred to breakfast or not, but it was terrible. Day one had a "quiche" like offering in a microwavable bag. I tried it and it was disgusting. I have had grocery store quiche that was better and edible! This was neither. I am not a picky eater by anyone's stretch of an imagination so if I refuse to eat it - there is a problem. There was warmish bacon, oatmeal that no matter what you did to it, was inedible, and cereal. That was it. The breakfast attendant brought out a basket of frozen muffins when I asked if there was toast. The next day - did not improve. There was turkey sausage in a biscuit - again in a microwavable bag, more sausage in a different container and the quiche again. The muffins this time were thawed. The 3rd day, I didn't even bother. I was very disappointed in what I know is not typical Marriott standards. They did offer both orange and apple juice as well as coffee. What is baffling is that if the excuse for the breakfast is a result of Covid practices, why then did my room contain trash from a previous guest? Shouldn't the rooms be inspected prior to renting them? Again, I can't say enough about the staff. Evelyn at check out allowed me to stay an extra 1.5 hours. My daughter was trying to go through her fathers house to bring home some of his items and it took time. So again, thank you to your staff. They truly were the reason that made our stay tolerable. I would like to also note that the staff did put feather free pillows in my room which is wonderful.

Housekeeping did a wonderful job during our four night stay. There were no overpowering smells...just the smell of a clean and peaceful room away from home.

Reviewed By c4d1There were no cups provided in the room nor any cups at breakfast. There also was no food at breakfast by 7:30AM and no one at the front desk to ask. Every other aspect was simply just okay. There was nothing that really stood out about this location.
