A little slice of heaven
Reviewed By JWGosdenPascale’s farmhouse nestles in the valley beneath Sospel and was easily the best night’s accommodation for our week’s walking through the Alpes Maritimes. The rooms are simple and comfortable, the view glorious and the food astonishing. Dinner was hearty, hot and we talked about how good squash/pumpkin soup had been for most of the next day’s walk. There are plenty of high-end restaurants on the Riviera which don’t even get close to Pascale’s cooking. And none of them have a friendly menagerie to keep you company while you have apple crumble for pudding....

Traditional inn, very good value for money
Reviewed By Sue FThis was a lovely old inn family run. There is plenty of parking space. The owner made us very welcome and spoke good English. We were quite happy about the two large dogs but it might not appeal to everybody. Our room was a good size with a balcony and adequate bathroom, all very clean. Our evening meal was excellent and the staff very friendly. Also we enjoyed a hearty breakfast. All in all a lovely overnight stay in lovely scenery.

Cute, quaint, clean, great location to ski
Reviewed By Ally OI stayed here for a night with friends when I went skiing at Valberg. I loved it! The hotel was conveniently located about 15 min from the mountain (in a rental car, not sure how to access it via public transportation). We were welcomed kindly and then had dinner in the restaurant. Lots of locals and I know why! The service was great, food was great, atmosphere was great. The woman who owned the hotel was so friendly and kind (which can sometimes be rare to find as a tourist in France). The room was big and very clean. There were toiletries for each of us (4) in the bathroom, which is clearly new. I haven't seen such a big shower in France! There was also a cute little balcony off of our room with cool views of the mountain. Honestly, the pictures online don't do it justice, plus it was so cheap! I would definitely stay here again!!

Reviewed By CrewreviewsWe only stayed for one night but we would definitely return! Can walk to the lifts of La Colmiane. Parking on site. Apartments are no frills at all. But the owners are so welcoming and kind. We ate at their restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent and made on the spot. Only thing I would say is they need some Prosecco and a some Chardonnay. Views are great. Even have a heated storage locker for our ski gear. We will return without a doubt!

Reviewed By 573hamishhMe and a friend are currently on a trip around Europe and featured this hotel in after coming across it by accident to selection of teas and coffees, and in the bathroom there was shampoo, conditioner and body wash supplied, along with towels. The beds were comfortable too. Above all, what really stands out beyond any other hotel that we stayed during this holiday is the view out the window... Its spectacular. The room might not have a television but you could sit and look out the window all day and you wouldnt get bored of it. But this is not just a hotel, on the ground floor there is also an amazing restaurant! Its a set course menu but the food was amazing! There is 2 options, 4 course and 6 course, priced at 42 and 59 euros. Ive have never eaten in a Michelin star restaurant but I'd imagine it taste something like the meal that we were presented at this restaurant. I cant say that I've ever eaten anything that was served to us before but it was all so good, well worth the money. I didn't catch the names of the two owners but they clearly both really enjoy running the hotel and were very passionate about both the hotel and the food in the restaurant! I will never forget this hotel and hope that one day I will be able to come back.
