Great position

Our room was well appointed and very clean. All rooms had views over Geoffrey Bay, just over the road. One added advantage was the Arcadia hotel, with excellent food was just next door. We’d happily come back to stay again.

Great stay on Magnetic Island!

We visited from the UK at the start of April and had a great couple of days staying here. Rob and Jen were very friendly and accommodating hosts and we felt welcome. Nice clean room, rainfall shower was great. We enjoyed using the outdoor seating area and bbq facilities. Great location, close to some fantastic local bars and restaurants. Pool was excellent and quiet, very serene and relaxing. Parking was also available which we appreciated. Rob and Jen shared all their tips with us in regards to walks and different excursions, had we have had more time we would have loved to have hired snorkel equipment and explored the many wonderful bays on the island. Thank you for a fantastic time - hope to see you again!

WOW - Magnetic Island Beauty!!

Conveniently located next to the ferry terminal, the entry foyer was beautifully furnished and decorated in true resort style. Reception staff were very warm and welcoming, explaining the facilities of the resort as well as nearby conveniences. We were blown away by the beautiful pool area and gardens and being upgraded to a 3 bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor was totally unexpected and wonderful surprise. The expansive living area included a big screen tv with free inhouse movies, and a fully functional kitchen with all the needs for an extended stay, including a coffee machine. The luxurious master bedroom had an open ensuite including bathtub and 2 balconies, and the main bathroom was spacious with a 2nd bath tub (ideal for families with children). Our living area opened to a spacious undercover balcony with an 8 seater dining suite overlooking the pool and provided the perfect place for entertaining and enjoying the evening sunsets. The laundry consisted of both a washer and dryer. Our room was serviced daily and milk, tea coffee/pods and toiletries replenished. Breakfast at the Boardwalk Restaurant and Bar on the ground floor had a great selection of perfectly cooked options (highly recommend the fluffy pancakes) and was included in our rate. Unfortunately, it was not open for lunch or dinner service. This resort is luxury at a reasonable rate! I would highly recommend Peppers Blue on Blue Resort if you're looking for accommodation on the island and will definitely be staying here on my next visit.

Excellent apartment in great location

Reviewed By Essexboy999

2A stayed for 3 nights Excellent huge apartment, very clean and with everything needed for a self-contained stay. Our apartment had a balcony with table and chairs and a view out to the ocean. Magnetic Island, in line with multiple other tourist locations, has suffered from the effects of COVID. Virtually every apartment and business has a For Sale sign on it. There is a brochure on the table in the apartment with details on each apartment as the entire block of Magnetic Sunset apartments and associated businesses is for sale. We had many bookings in place when COVID hit and Magnetic Sunsets were the only people to not provide a refund, which was disappointing. We hired a car for our first day to get to the apartment and get our bearings on the island but used the Bus after this. Hiring a car is convenient to get to/from Horseshoe Bay and Nelly Bay but, unless you have a 4WD to explore off the bitumen, then the bus covers all routes and places you can access. Need to know: • Great location near cafes, beach, bus • Bus is just down the road and a good option to get around with a bit of planning • Has an elevator but is very slow (but better than nothing) • Strict non-flexible booking terms (including regarding check in time)

Wonderful boutique hotel with fantastic hosts

Reviewed By Stuart D

My wife and I recently booked a 10 day holiday at Serenity on Magnetic Island and we were pleasantly surprised by this wonderful, peaceful and comfortable hotel. The rooms are very spacious and the kitchen has everything you need to eat at home. The pool area is very nice and private. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the local pub and very nice Italian cafe and Italian restaurant. Sally and Moira couldn't have been more helpful and when we had to cut our trip back to 5 days due to a doctors appointment for my wife they were very understanding and didn't charge a penalty for the early exit. I would recommend Serenity to anyone looking to visit Magnetic Island

Great pool area

Reviewed By bruceshore

Stayed for 1 night in march in the off season. We stayed in a deluxe bungalow with a toilet and shower. The room was decent, appeared clean and stayed cool. The shower was ok. The bed was ok. My only complaint on the room would be that the towels were ratty and stained. Well 3/5 were. Also the floor appears to be rotting under the lino. The pool area is amazing. So is the bar area. I didn't drink, but it was a great place to have a drink at and chat with other travellers. My friend who I was there with had a great time staying up late drinking with locals and travellers. I imagine during peak season the place would be raging. A couple of things I wish I knew before going there 1. Nothing is happening on a Friday night 2. YOU CAN NOT GET FOOD ANYWHERE AFTER 8PM.
