Reviewed By S5340LUmarietThe rooms were spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the towels thick and there were lots of added extras which were a lovely touch. We had stayed in more expensive accommodation which was not as good as the Central Highlands Motor Inn.

Reviewed By 224etrWe stayed at Isabella for 2 nights and it was a lot more than we expected. The house was very clean, comfortable and welcoming and it was nicely renovated without losing its original charm. There was an antipasto assortment and a delicious loaf of bread waiting for us on arrival too. All the instructions were easy to follow, including lighting the gas fire and even making pancakes! We really felt the high level of service received wasn’t reflected in the price and I can not recommend Isabella highly enough. We would gladly stay again. Thank you.

Reviewed By Navigator11666113661An interesting experience. Very scenic and relaxing location. Customer service was good, in particular Kayla and Bronte at the dinner service, who were very welcoming. Unfortunately it may have been just bad timing, as we had no room fridge, apparently delivery was delayed. The lack of stock for the Cleveland wines was also a little disappointing. Would I go again? Yes, but I’d check they have a fridge and more stock for tasting.

Reviewed By 1610AnnWThis motel proves the adage: ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’ . It’s a motel built beside the ‘old’ Calder Highway in the late 1960s. Our room: clean, neat and comfortable, white walls, crockery & cutlery provided plus tea/coffee/sugar/milk. Kettle’s ‘ innards’ sparkling clean………..a bonus, as many in various types of accommodation, aren’t! Reverse cycle aircon kept room warm and we slept very well in the comfortable bed. No need for the electric blankets. Shower good, towels fresh. Popular too, with the large parking area easily accommodating 4 medium trucks, a number of ‘tradie’ utes plus 4-5 private vehicles parked the two nights we stayed. Manger, Andrew, has been there for 15 years. He was on site when we stayed and is most helpful.

Such a charming old style place with so much room, even though you only have a bedroom within it (inc ensuite). Hosts Kate and Peter terrific, not invasive and yet very attentive to guests needs. You felt like you had the run of the whole place. All the facilities and items you need are all their, at you leisure. Breakfast in dining room at your time always available and well stocked. Room facilities modern but with old charm, nice having an old radiator heater, good for towel drying. Tv and wifi great too. We are converts to this style. Probably not well suited for young children however.

Reviewed By Annette DKyneton Bushland Resort is situated outside the township in a rural area so that you do need a car. The two bedroom villas are well equipped and designed to comfortably fit a family of 4. The extra facilities with mini- golf, heated pool, playground and canoes on the lake provided plenty of activities for the grandkids. We enjoyed visiting Hanging Rock and nearby towns in the local area.

Hollyhock is a traditional country-style residence set in a lovely tranquil garden offering luxurious accommodation. Choice of king bed with ensuite or one of 2 queens with shared bathroom. Full cooked breakfasts included. Lovely short walk to Macedon village shops, restaurants and railway station 1 hour by train from Melbourne.Views to Mt Macedon. Great stepping off point to explore central victorian towns of Woodend, Kyneton, Castlemaine and Daylesford. Hike on hanging rock cycle or shop.

We stayed in the red room which has it's own private entrance and bathroom with jet tub. It had a wrap around deck so you can sit outside and enjoy the serenity. I loved feeding the king parrots they are beautiful. My favourite part of the stay was those magnificent bay windows, sitting there with a cuppa.. The bed was extremely comfortable too we didn't want to get up! Thanks again Chris we will be back!

Reviewed By JCGagniWe had a memorable stay at Macedon Ranges Hotel and Spa. Our room, the Deluxe Corner Room, had a good amount of space for a family of three plus a beautiful view. And while we were unable to book a spa during our stay, we were still able to enjoy the in-room jacuzzi. In addition, the service we experienced from the hotel staff was great, especially Haries who went above and beyond to assist us.
