Quick visit and a good sleep
Reviewed By WalkermamaWe checked in very late on a Saturday night and had no issues. I did call in earlier in the evening to confirm our late arrival so I would recommend that. The hotel is surrounded by office buildings and one way streets. It is a little annoying having to circle around to get to the parking lot but not a big deal. We had a room with two double beds. Quite a large room. Very clean. Bathroom was well stocked and clean as well. I had no trouble sleeping but my husband said he wasn't very comfortable. It didn't stop him from sleeping soundly though. My son said he was comfortable too. Breakfast was very nice the next morning. Egg patties, sausage links and bacon. Make your own waffles, cereals, baked goods, yogurt and juice. It was a nice selection and well stocked. Breakfast is pretty much in the main lobby so if you want to eat as you leave; it is convenient. On a side note, ice machines are on floors 2, 4 and 6. We were visiting Ohio Northern University and the drive to the school was quick. The hotel isn't really around much so if you are looking for a meal or shopping you will have to drive to another area of town but for comfort and cleanliness, I recommend this hotel.

Dirty room, broken blinds, lukewarm water
Reviewed By kbond2022Not recommended at all. Aside from the room having visible debris on the worn carpet, the blinds didn’t close properly and the shower was lukewarm at best. Room was visibly run down. Receptionist seemed completely disinterested in the issues when they were reported.

Reviewed By pesachwolickiMy favorite place to stay on my business visits to the Youngstown area. The hotel is clean. The staff is helpful and always available. They have an excellent fitness room. More fruit at breakfast would be a nice and welcome improvement. Here is also always plenty of parking.

Not Just a Roadside Motel
Reviewed By 363blakefExcellent staff and great accommodations for the price. This is not the Ritz Carlton, but it is certainly not just a stay over, rest your head for a night place either. I moved to Ohio for work and while I wait to take possession of my new house, I have been staying here. Weekly rates are available for business travelers and people such as myself, who are in a transition phase. Nightly rates are equally affordable and provide more than you would expect. A mini fridge, microwave and amazing shower pressure are huge amenities... at least in my book. Yet alone, the great staff. Leah, in particular has been fantastic. Scott has been equally great and the night men Ben and Orleans are also great. Leah and Scott have been my primary points of contact and offer the hospitality and personality that you would expect from a premium hotel. Only difference is, they aren't fake about it. The people here care. Whether you're staying the night to get a warm shower and a bed during a road trip or you are a traveling worker who needs a week or more in the area, I highly reccomend. The only two issues I have had here is that a few cable channels seem to dissappear and reappear, depending on the day. Not a huge deal. I "cut the cable" awhile ago anyway and it's nice to have over 70 + channels including movie channels. The other issue was early in my stay when I extended my stay one morning and housekeeping knocked on my door and asked when I was leaving. I work nights, and I wasn't extremely pleased to be woken back up after extending my stay that morning. However, no sooner did I shut my door that the room phone started ringing and Leah at front desk was calling to appoligoze that there was a miscommunication with the housekeeping staff and sincerley appoligized for the inconvenience. Mistakes happen and I have experienced this at many hotels on my travels, but never once has an agent called me up to appoligize for it. I should also note that I had points to to use for a free couple of nights at a more "premium" hotel across the highway. I would have paid nearly double for what I pay here, had I not had points to redeem, and I had nothing but complaints. Staff who did not care about parties and noise in addition to false promises of amenities. I have had and continue to have a more pleasant stay here. Bottom line..... Pros: Affordable rates with a caring staff and amenities such as a fridge, microwave, on site laundry and premium cable with HBO and other movie channels. Oh, and did I mention the staff? Cons: The beds are not Marriott Deluxe thousand dollar mattresses. Whether you're looking for a quick stop over on a road trip or a place to hang your clothes up and settle in for a week, I can reccomend this place highly enough.

Ok for a quick stay
Reviewed By Trevor PRoom was nice, check-in was fairly easy. Breakfast was far from anything good, nobody in the hotel but there was no food really there. Staff were quick to try and push us out the door in the morning. 11AM checkout, 1015 staff asking if we were leaving so they could clean the 7 rooms that were being occupied.

Reviewed By Jac GI'm a little underwhelmed with this hotel. There is a certain expectation that comes with a Courtyard that this location did not meet. There was some grime and filth around the room - crust in the fridge, crumbs on the floor, dirt marks on the sofa. I'm a little surprised. The lobby was super nice and clean.
