Reviewed By Emma RWe stayed here for one night on our backpacking tour of the Basque Country. We LOVED it! The host was super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. He showed us the best parts of the town to see and even made us breakfast in the morning! He also phoned a bus company to confirm the bus time I had seen online just to check that we could leave safely! We will definitely return if we are ever in Lekeitio again and we cannot recommend this place enough! One word of advice tho- do let them know in advance if you don't speak Spanish! It's a husband and wife team but he doesn't speak much English. (Not a problem for us but it might be for some)

Beautiful beach front location
Reviewed By meckioiWe booked the room through the hotel website on the day of our arrival. Check-in was smooth, staff courteous and friendly. The room came with breakfast and parking. We chose the hotel because of the pool and the beach front access. Pool times had to be booked ahead of time, but it was no problem at all to get a slot and we had the pool area to ourselves. The rooms are simple and clean and even the street facing rooms are very quiet. Many restaurants are in walking distance and the beach is lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Reviewed By BasmadZWe stayed in this hotel for one night and we truly loved it! It's a simple hotel, but the rooms are spacious, clean, and the view is breathtaking. You have to walk down a small hill to the center of town and it takes about 15-20 minutes. We walked down to the city twice (once to sight see and another time for dinner as restaurants don't open till 7-8pm), and bought some wine and cheese that we enjoyed at the tables in the yard. The road to get to the hotel is a bit windy, but pretty!

A Beautiful B and B
Reviewed By frederick62We stayed for a week in this family run B And B.It is in a great location up the hill from Lekeitio ,set in beautiful gardens with its own swimming pool.Our room was immaculate with a four poster bed and large en suite shower room . Izzy(not sure of the spelling) and her brother were great hosts and made us feel very welcome.We recommend it 100%.

Great location, absolutely overprized

The rooms are small, old and very basic, and at least the rooms to the "garden" (yes, it's nice and green there) are dark, clammy and smelly, no view, not even to the "garden". The terrasse to the back you don't dare to use - it's so old and smelly. Yes, you can use the terrasse to the sea, however, it's not very inviting. The hotel is in a walking distance to the village, but it takes 30 minutes. And it's absolutely overprized, you double-pay for the close proximity to the beach

Comfortable and quiet
Reviewed By higvinA comfortable, quiet antique hotel close to the harbourfront. Lekeitio has done a splendid job banning cars from its centre, which is excellent on one level, but it means reaching the hotel by car can be a bit of a nightmare (I had to walk there from where we were distantly parked to get instructions on the complicated route on how to get there). The receptionist could not have been more helpful or friendly advising us on how to get close to the hotel to unload and then on how to reach its nearby covered parking. Our room on the first floor was spacious with a view towards the harbour and was completely quiet, our being in a strictly pedestrian area. The enormous church next door mercifully doesn’t start sounding its bells until well into the morning. Large, comfortable bed and ok bathroom. Staff were very helpful directing us to the best and possibly only dinner option in town (Lumentza - see separate review). The one issue needing attention is that the hotel’s advertising says that a stay includes breakfast - this wasn’t the case for our visit.

Reviewed By mimi_k00ostello economico e pulito. non è un hotel quindi non bisogna aspettarsi grandi cose. pero è pulito, personale gentile, in 3 min si arriva al porto e alla spiaggia. bisogna portarsi asciugamani, i bagni e le camere sono in comune
