We are conveniently located in the heart of the historic district that surrounds our hotel in Bethlehem Embrace our beautifully decorated and newly renovated historic Bethlehem hotel. Come experience world-class service, charming guest accommodations, elegantly appointed lobby and common areas, beautiful yet efficient banquet and meeting facilities, and Award winning cuisine. We proudly continue the tradition of Bethlehem hospitality that began by the Moravians who first settled here in 1741. Come experience this hospitality at our Historic Hotel Bethlehem. Restored to its original 1922 grandeur, Historic Hotel Bethlehem's floor-to-ceiling palladium windows provide dramatic views of the historic shopping district just outside our front doors. Seven large murals were painted by George Gray in 1937 to depict the history of Bethlehem. These beautiful murals currently adorn the walls of the Mural Ballroom. One of the larger murals retells the story of how Count Zinzendorf and other early settlers named the city of Bethlehem on Christmas Eve in 1741. This event took place in a crude cabin on the site now occupied by our Award winning hotel.

Small but elegant rooms

Rather small rooms for a 4 star hotel but everything was clean and elegant. Most importantly, the service at every point was excellent and they were more than accommodating of special requests. Love the historical significance and ambiance.

Fun place with great service

I visited the resort for some much needed relaxation and spa time. Check-in was very organized and the staff was wonderful. I needed assistance getting my suitcase out of my car due to weakness from a surgery and Jennifer at the front desk immediately offered to help. On the day I was leaving the resort Jennifer caught me on my way out and had me pull my car up and helped me with my suitcase again. She was amazing and so kind. Great place to go for a little getaway. Room was clean and quiet at night. I will be returning!

Pleasant Stay!

We had a very quiet and peaceful experience! This staff is kind, helpful, and seem to truly care! My husband is wishing he had written down names but a couple of the staff were extremely nice to him when he was passing through an earlier /different date. This night we had Donald and Co and he/they could not have been more helpful and understanding. We highly recommend this place. Clean and fine for weary travelers!

Front Desk Needs More Polish. Restaurant food... eh!

Reviewed By Travelings00n

Convenient location with plenty of parking. The issues for me started with check-in. Very stoic reception. No mention of thank you for being a Hilton Honors member and also a Diamond Club member. Not a big deal, but it is a nice touch and most Hilton properties do it. There was no mention of the hotel's $10/day credit for HH members (more later). I also asked for a courtesy upgrade and they looked at me like I had two heads. This is customary for Diamond Club members. I checked in and the room was fine, but cold. Turned up the temp and that fixed that. The hotel could use some upgraded carpets, especially in the halls. The bed was extremely comfortable. I went back to the front desk and got two snacks from their pantry. I asked if these were complimentary for HH members. They said "no" as I will be getting a credit as part of being a HH member. So they charged me $6. After checkout, I received the bill by email and there was not a $10 credit, but the $6 was there. I called a few days later and the desk attendant checked it out and said I was owed a credit of $10. Nothing was said, such as sorry for the inconvenience, etc. Again these things are fairly trivial, but not what I am used to at Hilton properties. A bit about their restaurant food. Very average. I had dinner and breakfast there. 3 out of 5.

Worst Hotel, Worst Owner

Reviewed By William P

My girlfriend booked a room here... The first room was immersed in cigarette smoke. Due to her asthma and allergies, we asked to change rooms. Our next room came complete with an unyielding musty odor that permeated every piece of fabric. Because of her health condition and the horrific conditions, we could not stay at the property. Due to the owner's greed and lack of empathy, he refused to allow his staff to refund my girlfriend's card. I had worked at Hampton Inn and Embassy Suites for several years and we would NEVER do that to any guest. The building is so disgusting, it should be razed. Truly avoid this property at all cost.

Excellent Place to Stay!

Excellent hotel! I needed a room on the first floor, at the end of the hall (as my mother cannot walk long distances). The front desk associate (I'm sorry I can't remember his name, he's from California), was so nice. He was able to get my mother's room just inside of the door and my room just a few doors down. I love the space in the room! Everything was clean and in working order. Breakfast was nice. I love that they leave the coffee and tea out all day as well as fresh fruit. The oranges were deeelish! And the location was perfect, a mile from a shopping center! #winning This will be my go-to hotel whenever we're in that area.

Have stayed at this Hilton location many times over the past few years way before the pandemic started. Missed the custom omelets and diamond member perks which do not really matter at this time. Will be back in a few months to see if things do indeed change. Hope the bar opens soon.

I wish there was 0 star

“ I wish I had the option to give 0 star Disappointed is an understatement. The room was dirty, smelly but because it was late we made the decision to suck it up and stay specially after a day on the slopes, we had made plans several months prior to celebrate the Valentine’s weekend to stay after having dinner in the area, our only option was to drive 3 hours back home to NJ. Only to find out that the only TV in the room was not working. After spending some time trying to make it to work we went downstairs to talk to the front desk gentleman who gave us a three pages instructions on how to use the tv after spending some more time with no success, we had to go back downstairs only to have himself to try it, after trying all the options, he admitted that the tv was not working. He advised us that if we decided to leave since there was no available rooms to move us, he said not to bother trying to find him and just place the Keys on his desk. After a few more minutes trying we made the tough decision at 9:30pm, we felt we gave this company enough chances to redeem itself and driving 3 hrs back to Nj was less aggravating than paying $238 for a room under those conditions. Only to be told after several attempts trying to reach the manager Sarah on Monday 2/14 is that they realize that the carpet needs to be changed, after they had some kind of accident, the TV was not working and unfortunately they had no room available since they were booked 100% and could not move us, basically we were out of luck. When I pointed it out to her that when a company sells out 100%, and service falls short because they decide that is ok to sell room under those condition the minimum they should do is to reimburse 100% which would not even begin to replace the loss of beautiful weekend that we were counting based on false beautiful fotos of their rooms on their site.
