Best location and views in Komiza
Reviewed By mast01It seems Lena has apartments in a few different locations in Komiza. The one we stayed in has to be the best though, this house is even pictured on local buses and in tourist ads for Komiza. On the waterfront right next to Komiza Castle, in front of the pier with a beautiful view of the bay and the nearest (small) beach just around the corner, the location couldn´t be better. The apartment itself nice and clean, modern and well equipped with air conditioning, flatscreen tv, wifi and a kitchen area for self catering - if you don´t want to cook there are also many restaurants nearby. The only negatives would be that the bed is not very comfortable, and that it can get noisy when there are musical performances on the square by Komiza Castle. Oh, and Lena is a great host, generous and nice.

Lovely place
Reviewed By Elisa RMe and my friend had a great stay in Komiza and in Villa Kamenica. Everything went just perfect, our apartment was even better what we expected and the hostess was really friendly and helpful. There was air conditioning and a good bathroom. Beds were also comfortable and we slept very well. It was very easy to arrive by bus from Vis. Villa Kamenica was in perfect location: very close to everything but still in a quite spot. The garden was beautiful. Nearest beach was just behind the corner and was a really nice beach. I would definitely stay there again and I highly recommend this to anyone. I really fell in love with Komiza and enjoyed so much my time there.

We have a number of high-quality rooms and studio apartments with a sea view terrace. Our traditional house is situated in the town centre and faces a small beach which has been recently completely restructured and transformed. The beach is just 20 metres away.Our three-star accommodation features a radio, satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and heating (if needed). The kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove, cutlery and dishes, while the bathroom has a hair dryer and shower.Breakfast options include ham and eggs, ham and cheese omelettes, continental breakfast and dessert, coffee, tea and milk.On Mondays our dinners feature vegetable soup, Dalmatian specialities and side dishes, bread, wine and dessert. Wednesdays we offer Komiza-style pizza, black quid risotto and bread, wine and dessert.
Good, but pay attention to the following
Reviewed By Marthe MGot to Komiza, and after walking around for quite a while, happened across the building. We stayed in the one on Obala Pape Aleksandra III. 4, 21485, Komiza, Croatia. (If you are booking, make sure to get directions from the bus stop - if you take the bus from Vis). The room was up three flights of stairs, but that meant that we had the top floor to ourselves. Sweet, quaint place. Not very grand, but very, very clean. We loved our terrace and the location was good. The only downside, and I honestly couldn't tell you where this happened....I lost $100 Euros in Komiza. I could have been pick pocketed, the money may have disappeared from our room. There was no safe there. I would like to think that someone slid it out of a pocket (we were travelling around Europe, so had different currencies on us). Anyway. Not pointing fingers but again, no safe way of storing valuables in the room. . Would definitely stay here again.

The old carob trees, at the entrance of our house, will make you nice and natural shade, but will also hide you, and the house, from the curious gaze of passers-by. On the bottom side of the house there are lemon trees and orange trees, which fruits you can pick freely and refresh yourselves with the natural lemonade right on the terrace of your apartment . The house is 200m away from the town centre, and only 100m from the beach . We offer 6 suites and three double rooms . Browse freely through our accommodation offer, and we hope that you will choose one of our suites or rooms and spend an unforgettable holiday, and then return to us again next year.
Great location, nice viewes
Reviewed By Nisse001Vis is a lovely small fishing village, with lots of small restaurants. Ksenija has a good location, the bus stops right outside the house. You have a short walk down to the sea and the small centre with shops and restaurants. The hosts speak poor english but are helpful when they understand, she is better than Luka. The apartments has all you need including a large balcony/terrace.

The location could not be better with beautiful views of the harbor, from our room and from the terrace accessible to all guests. The room has AC, an amazing rainshower, and the best blackout blinds ever! We were so happy with our stay and definitely recommend!

Reviewed By Federica MIo e il mio compagno abbiamo soggiornato in questa ottima struttura per 4 giorni all'inizio di Agosto.Perfetta per una coppia la stanza è molto bella, appena ristrutturata e arredata con cura, è dotata di un angolo cottura, accessori per poter cucinare se lo vogliate e di un piccolo balconcino con un tavolino dove è possibile tranquillamente mangiare, noi ogni mattina ci facevamo colazione. La struttura si trova nella parte alta della cittadina di Comisa, molto facile da raggiungere venendo da Vis, la posizione è ottima zona molto tranquilla e silenziosa, dista 5 minuti a piedi dalla zona centrale del porticciolo, dove ci sono ristoranti e supermarket etc., e non è difficoltoso trovare parcheggio per l'auto nella via adiacente. I proprietari sono molto cortesi e ci hanno dato molti consigli sull'isola!

Reviewed By BallyJenKod Senke is a gem of a spot from which to enjoy Komiza. The 3 apartments are looked after by the owners Tonka and Senke who are the very best of hosts. You will receive such a warm personal welcome from them. They are very attentive and go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay with them. Our accommodation was spotlessly clean and so many little thoughtful details in what they provide made our stay so much of a pleasure -things such as numerous electric sockets, a hairdryer, a plentiful supply of towels, an electric kettle, and even a toastie maker. The location is perfect so you can go to sleep and wake up to the sound of the waves gently lapping on to the beach, and within 30 seconds you can be in the sea for a swim. A short 2 minute stroll takes you to Komiza’s numerous restaurants, and 2 small supermarkets, not to mention the bakery for morning bread and even a fishmongers. You can sit and watch the yachts, and fishing boats arriving and departing into the harbour or relax and enjoy the wonderful sunsets. It is such a picturesque spot that I reckon in the week we were there, we must be in many hundreds of photographs. A little piece of paradise that I am missing and can’t wait to return to next year.

Reviewed By 932maddysThe view was stunning, the host was incredible, the location was perfect...! We had an amazing trip for my partner’s birthday. Yadranka was so welcoming, we felt instantly at home, she even made him a homemade delicious tiramisu cake for his birthday!! We had some of her homemade wine and for breakfast, all vegetables from her garden! I really can not recommend staying here more. We felt so comfortable and so well looked after, I wish we could have stayed for the whole summer!

Apartments Ana are located in a newly restored house that overlooks the main town beach in an area known as "Golubjera". We offer three apartments, two 2+1 apartments and one 2+2 apartment. All apartments have separate entrances and are equipped with kitchen, living room, bedroom and a large terrace with a view of the Komiža bay and the island Biševo.

Reviewed By lewisNassingtonWe have just returned from a fantastic holiday in Komiza staying for 9 nights at the Ana apartments, in the Mistral apartment, top floor. If you are looking for accommodation in Komiza then look no further, the view from the balcony is stunning, the photos do not do it justice, amazing scenery. The apartment was very clean and well equipped, nothing could be faulted. We met Ana two years ago on our first visit to Komiza, I so wish we had stayed at the Mistral apartment then, Ana works such long hours in the local grocery shop. The star of the show for us was Antonija, Daughter of Ana, a charming lady with a very good sense of humour. Our party consisted of myself, my Wife Lucy and our Son Martyn. Antonija was aware at the booking stage that Martyn suffers from a long term illness which effects his balance and coordination, His condition and mobility was much worse during our holiday as a result of Martyn having had a bad fall at home 10 months ago resulting in major surgery to correct ligament damage to his knee. Because of this we found the stairs to get to the top floor a bit of a challenge but well worth the effort to get to that balcony. Martyn was in a wheelchair most of the time to get around. Antonija kindly met us at the ferry port in Vis and then took us to the local supermarket so that we could buy supplies to take to the apartment, this was just the start of her kindness. Every evening Antonija met us in Komiza and drove us back to the apartment, this to save us having to push the wheelchair up a steep incline from the harbour area. Antonija had to leave home three days before the end of our holiday and arranged for her Father to continue to pick us up at the end of each day. They are such a lovely family and we left feeling that we had known them for years, now our very special friends. Just book to stay here you will not be disappointed. Good luck to Antonija with her University studies, she deserves to succeed and I am sure she will. Would have no hesitation in staying at Ana apartments in the future, the location is perfect. Antonija's kindness really helped us to enjoy our time in Croatia and made it so much easier for us to get around in the circumstances. A very big thank you from Martyn.

Perfect apartment
Reviewed By mark50100This apartment is an excellent base to explore the wonderful island of Vis and especially Komiza which is beautiful The apartment is so well appointed it really does have everything a traveller needs very clean spacious and lots of storage space It has a large veranda- we were in Apartment 4 upstairs so had beautiful view of mountains and partial sea view The owner met us from the bus and offered us drinks and snacks whilst we sorted the paperwork- just one thing to be aware of is you cannot use a credit card so cash either Euros or Kuna is required- also a lot of restaurants etc and some boat trips all require cash only The housekeeper was very helpful we stayed for 9 nights and had sheets/ towels changed during the week We would highly recommend this modern apartment
