We did not expect it to be so wonderful! The room was huge with a kitchenette. The bathroom had a large walk-in shower AND a separate extra large tub. And to top it off, the complimentary breakfast included a little of everything, even a made to order omelette station.

Reviewed By john wOne of the very best hotels of this brand. We use Hilton brands very often and this is one of the best we have used. Staff friendly and helpful. Very attractive with an excellent full breakfast option. Front desk clerk AJ steered us to a terrific restaurant for dinner and breakfast host Santiago was the best. Few of this brand of hotels offer full breakfast and as we had a long drive ahead it was most helpful.

Reviewed By johnwilliamc818This was my first stay at a Tru hotel and was pleasantly surprised by the room design and creative ways to meet your basic needs. The room was very clean and light and everything worked great. We had the king size room. While the hotel is a "discount" version of Hilton hotels, the items removed are not worth the discount. Microwave is in the lobby. The fridge is very small. No closet, just hanging hooks and rack in the area above the fridge. No couch, just a bench, that if you use for luggage, you have no where to sit but on the bed. Breakfast was average, but the juice machine wasn't working and no options provided. TV options were good with local and movie channels. Overall a very clean and nice place, but I need a little more space and amenities.

Reviewed By PdubtripsThis hotel is in a good location. Room was clean, but bathroom was not cleaned well. We were going to take showers in the morning, but the shower had black mold in the corners. The floor next to the tub was not cleaned well and there was cereal on the floor. The grout in the tiles was quite dirty. The door jam had something stained on it. The faucet for the sink was set too far back from the sink and the water fell about 1/2' away from the back of the sink bowl. This meant you could not put your hands completely under the water to wash them without cupping one hand to make a bridge for the water. The staff was super friendly. The breakfast was alright, but the bagels were very dried up and super tiny. Parking was excellent and great access to the highway. We will never stay here again.

In that year the hotel seems to be getting shopworn. the neighboring property, Springhill Suites seems to be a lot newer and just brighter. Breakfast was average at best but staffed with great attendants. Next year we will overfly this location in Favor of Jackson Hole.

Reviewed By Barker1991Hotel checkin was good. Hotel was clean and felt safe. Breakfast was good. As usual, Hampton is worth the extra money. The one downfall was the bathroom lighting would flicker and then go off. After that, wouldn’t come back on. Lol. Would stay here again.

Dilapidated and in need of renovations!
Reviewed By kandjwaWe picked this hotel as we read favourable reviews on Trip Advisor and the hotel site advertised newly renovated rooms and a breakfast. There was no breakfast. Our room was dilapidated and in need of repair. The bathtub fixture was corroded and no matter how hard we pushed, pulled or turned, we were unable to get water. So, no shower or bath after a long day of travel. The heater only heated part of the room and the bathroom was extremely cold. The bathroom fan sounded like a tractor. We checked out on a Sunday morning and no manager was available so I wrote my concerns on a paper with my contact information and asked that a manager contact me. It has been 4 days now and no one responded.

Great View
Reviewed By Merv271953The hotel is in an excellent location close to the Snake River. In addition, nearby there are several good restaurants. All in all we were very happy with our stay here in Idaho Falls and would recommend this BW.
