Fabulous place to stay or visiting the area
Reviewed By HappyTravellers222We are staying here for a full week on our month long holiday and we are so very pleased with this choice. First of all is the team at this hotel - simply fabulous, nothing is too much trouble and they have a great work ethic and sense of humour - we really like each and every one of them, the hotel Director is really great and has chosen the team so very well. Our two adjoining bedrooms were just what we wanted with more than enough space for my wife and myself - our adult daughter and our two tiny dogs. The bathrooms are great and also of a good size. The air conditioning is tremendous - thankyou! The beds were super comfortable and lighting very good. Rooms are well cleaned on a daily basis. Breakfast is really good and the staff are tremendous - a really good team and it has been a privilege to meet each one of them. The hotel lounge and dining area etc is simply lovely and somewhat beach like - really relaxing. Car parking is excellent on the flat outside and very secure. We truly could not have chosen a better hotel for this part of our trip and Arcachon is only 15 minutes away by car so no problem. If you want a clean modern comfortable very well run hotel in this area then do not hesitate. We will definitely be back and can’t thank the entire team enough for making our stay so enjoyable- thankyou. Finally the director is a Jaguar car lover so he also has excellent taste haha ?

Beautiful, relaxed and cozy place to stay
Reviewed By kaytravel79What a wonderfull place to stay!! We had the best room with a balcony and a great garden/pool view. The villa is located right at the golf course. We were welcomed with a cocktail. We also had our own small kitchen. The pool is nice and the atmosphere really relaxed. It's near nice places like Arcachon. Beach club pereire at Arcachon is a great to eat fruit de mer.

Nous avons souhaité privilégier l'indépendance, la sérénité, l'intimité de chacun après une belle journée d’activité, plage, bateau, golf, visite … Vous disposez d’une cuisine entièrement équipée, d’une chambre avec un lit double, d’une chambre avec lit simple et bureau, douche à l’italienne et d'une terrasse couverte avec mobilier extérieur donnant sur un espace privatif paysagé. Vous serez séduit par son atmosphère. En effet, nous avons fait appel à une décoratrice d'intérieure talentueuse... A gem away from the crowds
Reviewed By qqttWe stayed a short week at Les Cottages and thoroughly enjoyed our "chalet", stylishly furbished with driftwood-decorations. We very much appreciated the secluded court-yard (just for our cottage) with table, long chairs and sun all day long. Possibility to have breakfast served on your doorstep by Csibon (10€ per person). The cottage's kitchen is fully equipped - we even did some cooking ourselves. Located away from the crowds of Arcachon, so very peaceful, but only a stonethrow away from all the attractions. We recommend!

Hello and welcome O Bois Plage, we welcome you in a place which offers peace and serenity a few minutes away from(before) the Pond. 3 guest houses have a view(sight) on the swimming pool (warmed from April till October) and they possess quite an own garden with a table and two chairs to allow you to have lunch. The (continental) breakfasts will be served to you under the terrace or in room.

A disappointing b and b
Reviewed By aceitunoHaving read the reviews of this villa b and b we were expecting rather more than was delivered. We had reserved a room with a terrace/balcony but were given a room in the main building as our room had apparently been given to guests who had arrived earlier than we did (we had arrived at 1530!) The room had a low ceiling with round beams covered in foam tubing to avoid injuries. The window was detached from its hinge and the blind was not attached to the window! Overall the room was dark and uninviting. On the positive side the owner was most welcoming and provided a very good breakfast. The bathroom benefitted from an excellent shower and was satisfactory in all respects however it was situated at the end of a corridor. Gujan Mestras is a rather plain little town with a few ordinary restaurants. As we were staying for one night only we drove the short distance to Arcachon which is an elegant, sophisticated and impressive town with much to offer in the way of shops and places to eat. This b and b was not value for money.

Great value for money
Reviewed By Pascal PThis is a great option for 1-2 nights when travelling in the region. The value for money is truly excellent (for exemple breakfast cost only 6 € for adult with bacon and eggs). Rooms are spacious and staff helpful.

Great Location
Reviewed By 99neilmTh B & B is located amongst the grounds of the Golf Club de Gujan-Mestras just outside of the town. The location is very peaceful and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a ground floor room looking out over the swimming pool towards the golf course. We found that the room was very hot and the addition of air conditioning would have added to our comfort. The house is very modern but we prefer the shower and wash basin to be located in a separate room rather than just being in the bedroom. The breakfast is typically French and comprised baguette, croissants, yogurt, orange juice, tea or coffee - a bit underwhelming.

Beautiful Relaxing Villa with lots of activities!
Reviewed By samraussieDon't usually review places but loved our stay here, celebrating a birthday. Perfect spot to relax or be active. We loved our beautiful, 'beachy' room overlooking the pool, jacuzzi and golf course. Really enjoyed the active options nearby, close enough to borrow the bikes and cycle to, including golf, a Water Slide Park and ropes course amongst the trees. Rooms were clean and comfortable and loved the substantial breakfast to eat by the pool. Thanks for a great stay!
