Reviewed By Irene DWe stayed at the hotel for two nights. Location you can't ask for better, the hotel was a disappointment, it needs a major revamp. It's rated 4 star. Nowhere near. It's a pity cause Location is so nice. I won't recommend it to anyone. Even the lift was dirty. Sorry guys but this is how I feel.

Mouldy Smell & overall poor quality
Reviewed By MeganA1005Booked for two nights with sea view but ended up checking out as early as I could get into another hotel after 1 night. Upon entry room had stuffy smell, assumed to do with no air on. After one hour smell of mould became quite strong. Turned air off in case it was that. Smell so bad could not sleep. After another hour, contacted reception seeking assistance (where I was told they’re fully booked and could only offer some air freshener spray). Ended up opening balcony door to get some fresh air. This was weekend arctic blast his SA so was freezing. Combination of all this left me with very little sleep. Towel quality very poor with them feeling like cardboard, looked grey rather than white, and even had holes in them. After mould smell and the look of towels did not even shower. Checked out at 8am as was told this was time duty manger started, only to find they hadn’t. Advised new start time of 9:30. Left there to go to another hotel. Received call and was advised smell due to carpets being recently replaced. New carpet smell and mould smell are very different and it was definitely not a new carpet smell. Further despite all this only offered a minimal refund for the night. Went to a hotel that was half the price, had more in room amenities and towel quality no comparison. Further their willingness to assist and support me was incomparable to what I received at Oaks. Overall poor room cleanliness with mould smell, poor quality of linens, limited amenities, all not worth the cost, even with the sea view!

Very close to Glenegl Beach
Reviewed By sofear100My room was clean, bed was OK, plenty of extra pillows or blanket if needed. Pretty much used to room to sleep and leave my luggage as was going out every day. Very close to public bus stops as well as the Moseley Square tram stop. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby as well as the Coles just few hundred meters away. Although the outside exterior and interior was little shabby and very outdated, I was satisfied with the room and location.

Our motel has just installed a 'LIFT' for our rooms on the upper level. We also cater for disabled guests with walk in shower access. Guests are informed that the establishment charges a $300 bond on arrival for any guests paying by cash on arrival.
Wonderful place to stay, Love it
Reviewed By Val BBack again, as it is one of our favourite places to stay. The staff are so helpful and the rates are good. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were soft instead of being like rocks ars we have had in other places. The room was clean and we had room to take the wheelchair into the bathroom. There was only a continental breakfast but was was great, with cerial, fruit, yogurt, milk,juice, toast and condiments and coffee. It was fantastic and delivered to our room We love this place and would recommend it to everyone

View: overlooking Industrial air conditioner on pub roof next door which ran 24/7. Our balconies overlooked the cleanaway bins which were overflowing.Delivery trucks started arriving early morning including waste bin removal on morning 1 then gas bottle delivery morning 2. Didn’t stay for a third night. room was clean on arrival but didn’t get properly cleaned second day. Wet towels were not replaced. Bed not made. Had to ask for breakfast from the office. Which was in a box.

Reasonable accomodation in a quiet area!
Reviewed By Randal MReally a standard motel with access to rooms from the outside of the building. Parking close to rooms. Comfortable bed - adequate bathroom/shower. Clean but in need of a little TLC. Close to good bars and restuarants. 15 minutes walk to thecentre of Glenelg where one can take the tram/light railway into the centre of the city.
