Family 2 nights escape
Reviewed By K8019PDruisBought a 1 night stay + dinner for a family on an internet offer and added a second night. It turned out to be the best thing I could have done. The location and its views are wonderfull. Staff is friendly, helpfull and attentive to details. At arrival I was informed that for some reason that I couldn't fully understand, I had been upgraded to a Deluxe Junior Suite for free, which is a superb room. Outside heated pool was, for us, the cherry on top of the cake. Both adults and kids loved it. Don't know when but will come back for sure.

Breakfast and dinner served at the hotel, the hotel bar with live piano music and a variety of cocktails, the SPA facilities and treatments or massage, all supported by very friendly and service minded staff. In addition, the driver taking us to the lifts, he is the best!! We will come back!

The Hotel Cresta is a cozy vacation hotel, which is situated very quiet in a large garden. Three houses are connected and one house (Chalet) is about 80 meters away, without connection to the other buildings (restaurant and wellness). A free shuttle bus to the skilifts is available in winter. Hiking trails and sights are easily accessible by foot. The large wellness area with a heated outdoor pool and an unheated natural pool (summer) is complemented by several saunas and steam baths, a Kneipp fountain and a cold water pool as well as a resting room. In addition, the hotel has a small gym, solarium and a massage service in collaboration with an external therapist. In the morning, guests can enjoy a varied breakfast buffet sweet and hearty cold specialties as well as boiled eggs and scrambled eggs. In the evening a daily changing 4-5 course menu is served as half-board. Parking is available free of charge (outside) or for a fee (garage) directly at the hotel.
Skiing trip to Flims in January 2022
Reviewed By want2ski4everAs a repeat customer it’s my second visit to this establishment. Upon my first visit way back in March 2015 I stayed in the main hotel in a small single room on the first floor but this time I’m staying in the chalet they own opposite the hotel in a bigger single room 702 with a bath, balcony & a shower not just a shower. My minor criticism in 2015 was that it felt like German speaking guests were given more favourable treatment but now in 2022 every nationality of guest is treated well/equally. They get all the basics right: a clean room, everything works in the room, the hot water is instant, the heating can be controlled, the staff are friendly/helpful and the hotel shuttle van provides a very good service dropping & collecting guests from the ski lifts. The wireless internet speed is good and has a good reception range. The spa/swimming pool/wellness area is of good quality but to access it you do have to walk across the bar area in a dressing gown which some people may not like personally it didn’t bother me too much. The breakfast is great both hot & cold I like the scrambled eggs and boiled ducks eggs best. There are plenty of cheeses, processed meats on offer to put on the numerous bread types, multiple yogurts, served by waiters coffee or tea not self service machines, a variety of cereals, some fruits, plenty of juices, croissants. The only breakfast improvement would be to have hot porridge oats as a cereal choice. Some hotels have juicers/blenders where guests do their own juice like carrot & celery juice but these are noisy/loud too and trouble to clean and maintain so horses for courses as the English would say. The evening meals are a set fair price. On my first day I was rushing about back and forth from my chalet to the hotel determined to get on the 08:30 shuttle van to the slopes still adjusting to a new routine that I left my rucksack down and behind. Upon purchasing my ski pass I noticed that my rucksack was missing. I rang the hotel and they searched the ski room and the chalet and found it. I had some irreplaceable items in it prescription skiing sunglasses & spare goggles, my favourite D shaped avalanche shovel, probe, Swiss Army knife, ski lock, ski carrier sling, ski strap, internal camel back water pouch etc. They called me back on my mobile telephone to report that they’d found my rucksack and put it inside my room. The hotel shuttle van driver sometimes helped to carry skis up to the van and went back to check if anyone was getting ready in the ski room wanting the hotel shuttle van. These are examples of good customer service levels of the hotel. So overall the hotel has got better whilst still doing a good price.

A good place to stay in expensive Switzerland
Reviewed By 847mikebI am a Hapimag member so my stay will probably be cheaper than for a non Hapimag member. The resort has a locked ski and boot store and is 5/10 minute flat walk to the Telecabin. If you hire your skis you can change into your ski boots at the rental shop. making the walk even easier. The apartments are self catering so you can take rolls for lunch saving you 15SF plus for soup etc. on the mountain. You can eat in in the evening. There is a large COOP in the Stenna building. The meal we had in the restaurant was very good but we could only afford it once. Prices are in line with restaurants in the town. The £/SF exchange rate makes Switzerland very expensive. The resort has a nice swimming pool but can be a bit small if too many people are using it. There is a nice Naked Spa. Take note shy British people. I am a when in Rome type person so it did bother me. In fact I prefer it to sitting in a wet swim suit. A very nice place to stay and easy to get to by Public Transport it also has an underground car park.

Reviewed By 708wernerwWe visited this hotel for the second time. The service is still perfect. The breakfast is big and tasty. The rooms are nicely decorated and well maintained. To have a parking lot and a small shopping mall under the same roof is also very handy.

Besides of the Winter sport fans, during the Summer, all the bikers and hikers are welcome by us. We are an uncomplicated, partially new renovated 3 Star Hotel and offer besides to Studios and rustically rooms, also Standard – and Superior double bedrooms. All rooms own a private balcony, and many of them have views to the mountains Swimming pool and Sauna, as well as free internet access, TV and Phone, close our offers to smooth it up. Our outdoor parking spaces are reserved for the Restaurant visitors, but we have around 40 underground park spaces available by reservation and an extra charge. The post bus station Flims Waldhaus Caumasee is just nearby the hotel. That bus station is likewise the departure point for the shuttle bus Flims - LAAX - Falera, the famous ski and hiking areas from the zone. After 15 minutes, you reach the unique Caumasee, that fascinates through his turquoise and crystal clear water.
Great hotel with overall excellent service
Reviewed By Akos PAlthough we spent one night only, our stay was simply excellent. The staff is very friendly and they provided great service. There is a pool and a sauna which is perfect for relaxing after a demanding skiing / snowboarding day. The pool is rather small, so it's not suitable for swimming, but great for having a dip. Our dinner in the cozy restaurant located on the ground floor of the hotel was delicious, and the pizza is a must if you like real Italian pizza. Extra plus for the closed underground garage, as finding a parking spot in Flims is usually a challenge.

Slopes, hiking and biking trails as well as shops are only a few steps away. The Hotel Restaurant Bellevue is a classic Swiss hotel offers 3-star comfort managed from the owner family with a well-known restaurant serving traditional and local food. Bellevue's gourmet restaurant NOVA - the restaurant located in an old cellar from 1577 offers 2 menus à CHF 145.00 with 6 courses international fine dining cuisine and also a dinner deal menu with 3 courses for CHF 95.00 including amuse-bouche and coffee/tea (served only by the whole table. Large, sunny terrace serving cheese fondue only outside. The rooms offer enough space for a relaxing vacation. All superior rooms have a sunny balcony or terrace. Ski- and board or bike storage is available as well as free outdoor parking and garage parking (against fee). The sauna is next door on reservation (exlusive).
Terrible room and rude personnel

The room was dark and terrible with the sink of the washroom just at the very entrance of the room outside of the washroom. The floor was covered with a dirty brown moquette and the curtains were yellowish-transparent looking so cheap. Anyway I arrived in the evening and because I was alone and tired from my journey I asked in the restaurant if I could have a toast or something small to possibly take away. I was immediately taken out of the restaurant and was asked in a rude way if I was a guest in the first place (which was definitely NOT a requirement to eat in the restaurant - so why asking - anyway I was) and was told they had nothing for me there and all I could have was a sandwich with cheese or salami and I had to order it at the reception. So I asked if I could eat there instead of opting for a take-away solution: they told me that they were fully booked when 90% of the tables were absolutely free and she repeated that all I could have was a sandwich. So I said I would have rather looked somewhere else and she replied that I could have gone anywhere but I wouldn't have found any place around here to eat (haha): Of course I went to another restaurant who was fully booked FOR REAL and the personnel still managed to find me a seat and served me really quickly. when I came back from this restaurant, the restaurant at the hotel was still empty..... Next time I would rather sleep in the snow or book myself in a batter place. There are so many hotels in Flims and in this beautiful region - please look elsewhere and don't book here.

Very nice stay
Reviewed By Lukasz8doszVery nice place. We had an underground room, the size was okay, beds fine as well. Nothing unusual. However, the hotel facilities were super nice. There are at least 2 places to eat and sit in the evening to spend time nicely, you can also get some extra food from self-service area. There is small sauna wet, dry and Jacuzzi. Hotel is located less than 2 minutes by walk from the slope and shops.
