Not nearly as crowded as pre-Covid
Reviewed By gomerpyleStayed here a number of times, both to and back from Florida. Never had a bad experience (once had some noisy guests above us and front desk credited me the points for the nights stay). Rooms are clean. Beds are comfy. Pillows are "just right." Even bathroom amenities are good. Only complaint is breakfast quality and selection has gone down since pre-covid. (this isn't a criticism of this one location, it seems all hotel chains have found a way to cheapen their free breakfasts.) And, in the past, this hotel and all others in Erie were always filled up with travelers (lots of Ontario cars.) Seemed to be 1/3 full when we were there in May/2022.

Very clean all of the time
Reviewed By Bee9876There was a decent breakfast with some hot items. There was an inside pool for the kids, one hour is set aside for adults only. We were there for a wedding reception, but rooms were booked all around there because of the soccer tournament. The high price for the room in that area was my only complaint. The staff was very friendly and you were greeted by every employee when they saw you.

Reviewed By carolphMy husband and I had an upcoming anniversary and good friends of ours made reservations for the four of us at their favorite hotel, the Sheraton Eire Bayfront. What a great experience! Both our rooms were on the seventh floor overlooking the Bay. From our huge window it appeared we were actually jutting over the water. (You had to get right up next to the window and peer straight down to even see the dock). All of the employees are so helpful, including Danny who checked us in with a friendly and competent manner. However I must really commend Amy, who in conjunction with our friends, made sure we had the perfect anniversary experience: a lovely room, reservations for a delicious dinner in the hotel’s restaurant, breakfast etc and all with attention to every detail. We even got a heart-warming goodbye from her when we left My husband and I are avid travelers and have stayed in a number of Sheratons all over the USA but both of us felt this one far surpassed all the others. Highly recommend.

Worst place ever, AVIOD!!
Reviewed By tlaw193Worst place ever. Save your money and go to any number of real hotels in Erie. The manager refused to honor my reservation because I wouldn't show him a SECOND credit card after making the reservation with my wife's card. Btw, my wife's credit score is well over 800. He acted like a spoiled child, told me "you blew it" and ordered me off the property. When I insisted on checking in he called the police on me and hid in his office until they arrived (about a half hour), thereby ensuring none of the 20 people in the lobby could check in. The police are very familiar with him and apologized to me for the hassle. Repeated emails to Motel6 corporate were ignored. Save yourself a major headache and reserve at a substantially better hotel (which, quite honestly, is almost anywhere else).

Wonderful Hotel
Reviewed By MellyRussiFirst stay for two adults one child one night. It is close to everything on peach Street as well as Presque Isle park the mall in Waldameer Park. There is good parking and it includes an exercise room and indoor pool and a free breakfast in the morning. All employees were friendly. The rooms are large and clean. We used Wyndham points but I believe it was running around 150 a night so pretty competitive with the area especially for a nicer hotel. We would recommend and stay again.

The staff is very pleasant and personable. My room was very nice, comfortable and clean. I have absolutely no complaints. I hope I get to stay here again for work in the future.

Quaint random place to stay
Reviewed By Travel4Fun31Over all really enjoyed our stay here. There were a few minor things that were odd, like the random pillow case on the floor in the corner of the room... It smelled so fishy when we got outside the car, but the smell didn't flow into the hotel so that was good. But plenty of outlets for charging devices. Bed comfy, Bath and Body Works products in the bathroom. Needed additional tissue box, they couldn't find one, so we got a toilet paper roll instead. Breakfast was decent, eggs, sausage, pancakes, fruit, coffee. Hotel lobby bar was open til 1:00am and very reasonable prices for beer, wine, & seltzer
