This design hotel offers a free shuttle to Barcelona's El Prat Airport, located 4 km away. It offers a sauna, gym, indoor pool and rooms with free Wi-Fi, kettle and satellite TV. The stylish, air-conditioned rooms at Hotel Ciutat del Prat feature modern decor and a flat-screen TV.The hotel's classic-style Sinfonia Restaurant offers fresh Mediterranean food. There is also a cafe-bar where you can get a snack or a drink. Barcelona's Fira Congress Centre is only 4 Subway Stops away from the hotel. El Prat de Llobregat Train Station and Subway is just 800 metres walk from the hotel, connecting you also with central Barcelona in under 20 minutes.
The staff is competent, courteous and efficient in accommodating request and making check-in effortless. The room was immaculate, the shower had hot water and good flow. Although the sauna did not heat up, the pool was pristine. Getting a shuttle to and from the airport (to test for Covid) was facilitated in a prompt manner. I did not try their restaurant, however the breakfast buffet had ample selections. My only recommendation is that they should have a more efficient burner to keep food warm and cover heated items. The roof top bar was a welcome addition for a great view and nosh. There are plenty of small shops, quick, local "fast food" and bakeries, however not any restaurants to choose from. Great stay and would recommend. I found their staff amazing!

Especially designed for travellers who land in Barcelona for connecting flights to holiday or business destinations, amongst its excellent services the Hotel Barcelona Aeropuerto provides a free airport shuttle 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to Terminal 1 (T1) and Terminal 2 (T2). A walk distance to the metro station (Parc Mas Blau), which connects with Barcelona city center in few minutes. Rooms fully equipped with premium beds, minubar, flat TV and telephone. Premium rooms and Junior Suites come also with coffee and tea facilities. The hotel provides restaurant, a bar and room service. Your best choice when visiting Barcelona.
Old windows + 50 m from motorway. Impossible to sleep. Simply awful, I regret I did not check the comments on tripadvisor before booking, I would never have chosen this hotel. How can they still give hotel room facing the motorway, this for 200 euros / night?

Ok for just a one night stay as was close to the airport metro. However I had concerns about the cleanliness of the bathroom with some hairs on the floor. There were also mosquitos in the room which was very annoying . Hotel was noisy from both other guests and from the local wildlife (not sure whether it were birds or frogs/crickets in the surrounding gardens). Definitely not a place for a restful sleep. TV remote control was non functional and the Wi-Fi was extremely poor.

The best reception ladies in town: Witty, organized and cool! The rooms and the bathroom were tidy. Had to wear airplugs though, no sound isolation between the rooms. Wonder why they still build houses like that!

What you're getting with this place location, location, location, as you can drop your rental car the night before and easily get to your plane the next morning. This is especially convenient, given the current CDC rule that requires a negative COVID test within 24 hours of your flight to the US. There's a place in Terminal 1 where you can reserve a test the afternoon before--way better than other offsite options, in my opinion. As for the hotel, don't expect a lot of the room. The one we got was very basic, small and a little weird in that there was no door in front of the toilet and the shower looked out onto the hallway if the door was opened. This lack of privacy may necessitate one in your party vacating the room while the other takes care of certain business, lest an uncomfortable level of embarrassment be entertained. Beyond that, they could use a good mechanic around this place and perhaps a bit of exterminating. The handle to the sink kept falling off. And the phone you were supposed to use to call so they can let you in through the locked sidewalk entrance was broken. So was the other contraption that I gather was supposed to allow your key card to let you in. I used my cellphone to call them (fortunately, they did post the hotel number at this location) and after a few moments --- voila! --- the sliding glass door magically surrendered. A friendly ant was spotted wandering along the exterior threshold of our room's door. And near a planter across from the public restrooms at the back of the hotel, a black roach of alarming size was enjoying a rest. I had no such issues inside our room, but made sure the bags were zipped up at night! And no, I didn't tell my wife about Big Mister Bug---it was too late to swap hotels and I wanted her to get a good night's rest. Breakfast was relatively sparse, but adequate and, actually, the wide selection of croissants was quite tasty. The largest issue for some may be finding this place. It has practically no signage (none at all from what I could tell inside the airport terminal) and good luck asking people who work at the airport where it is. Some told us they didn't think there WAS a hotel in the terminal. Someone here said they were given directions to this place and if I missed those, my bad. But I'm including a proper picture of the entrance and proximity to terminal 1, in case other weary travelers have this same problem. Basically, you hang a right when exiting the departure terminal (floor 3), take the sidewalk to the end and hang a left. The hotel entrance is about three doors down on the right in the adjacent section of building (it's kind of an office center) and it is marked at that point with a sign. It's just not identifiable from a distance. Also, once the door is opened for you, you have to take an elevator down one stop and when the door opens, you're greeted with a rather unappealing hallway with exposed pipes and a soiled blue rug. No worries, though. The more pleasant lobby awaits you just around the corner. Hopefully, they get the entry phone fixed. I was told by someone at reception that this way of entry really is the best. But it took on a kind of James Bond spy hideaway feel, what with the way the place is so hidden from view, coupled with the steps required for entry. I forget what I paid for this place, but I remember thinking it wasn't steep at all. So, for the convenience, I guess it was worth it---depending on how you feel about the above issues.

"Mucha Masia is a rural hostel within an urban nucleus and very close to a unique natural environment" Mucha Masía is a friendly accommodation in El Prat and stone's throw away from Barcelona city center, where the traveler can enjoy our natural surroundings, the environment and the activities we propose. With unique possibilities such as sleeping in a nineteenth century farmhouse a stone's throw from the center of Barcelona. We love the close relationship with the traveler, making him feel at home, as one of us. Mucha Masía is an accommodation with the intention of offering a unique experience to the guests.
0 stars. Undesirable place. € 5 for luggage storage, next to the umbrella stand as soon as you enter, in sight and access of anyone. I will not come back. Do not go. Covid friendly. 0 estrellas. Sitio indeseable. 5€ por guardarte la maleta al lado del paragüero de la entrada. A la vista y acceso de cualquiera. No volveré. No vayas. Covid friendly.

Hostal Cal Siles is great if you have an early-morning flight or arrive late at night at the aiport. The metro station is practically in front of the hostal and it only takes about 10 minutes to reach the airport. The rooms are basic, but mostly clean. The bed was comfy. Considering the room rate it is good value for money. Although, I wouldn't stay longer than 1 or 2 nights.
