Reviewed By c sWhile in Cleveland for medical visits we stayed at the club level of the Intercontinental. Fantastic service by our concierge Antoinette Peterson. She was so accommodating and we really enjoyed her. Breakfast at the lounge was very good. Cocktails in the club lounge were on the limited side and not really a functional bar but the bar at the restaurant Table 45 is outstanding. The hotel use to be 5 star. I would consider it 4 star now. Carpets, tables, etc. are worn. The staff and service though are great!

Rooms are very comfortable; I love the way Drury often remodels older buildings (even though I think the Drury logo sign looks like a spendthrift design and doesn't match the rather majestic look of the hotel itself). The crowd is casual.

Reviewed By albertorL9683KCI have never been in a hotel so dirty, with so bad maintenance, and with such a bad staff. I´m writing my review while me and my family still guest of this creepy hotel. The room is dirty, dusty, the carpets have never being washed, not even vacuumed. The Hilton promise is a lie in this case, no one of the staff do nothing for the guest, there is no cleaning persons, we have to wait more than half an hour for the check inn, the a/c is noisy and bad, everything wrong! They couldnt even bring me towels, the coffee maker didnt work, I reported it ant again, they do nothing. I have not use the facilities, but I can suppose that this story will repeat Dont come to this hotel never in your life, There are many better options in the area. Alberto Romo

Unique hotel, but sometimes inconvient
Reviewed By lesliecelebreBeware when you book on weekends and weddings are happening. Noise is VERY loud and travels many floors up! You also must re-route and not travel through the main hallway. Check in staff was nice and prompt.

Reviewed By ryhorn68Staff was attentive and accommodating, rooms were neat and clean, the fitness room was more than adequate, and the free breakfast had decent choices. Housekeeping was not an option during COVID (which I appreciated), but clean towels were always offered. The beds were comfortable and round were aesthetically designed. A small convenience store and 24-hr free coffee was always available. The valet retrieved/parked vehicles at any hour needed.

We came to the Cleveland Clinic a little traumatized about the pending medical procedure, and a little tired after the fact. We were met everyday with an upbeat staff who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.

Very poor customer service
Reviewed By akane4130We checked into this hotel expecting a very good experience but I had a horrible experience. First of all, the toilet paper was broken and no toilet paper so I called and the front desk told me to pick it up myself. And then I requested to clean the room but that didn't happen so I called and asked when this will happen. The front desk said it will happen while I am out. After 5 hours later, this was not done. Plus I asked for extra towels and that didn't happen either. I called the front desk and the person was extremely rude and defensive. It was the worst experience ever, Don't stay at this hotel.

Nice hotel but
Reviewed By wander1Great location, attentive staff, and a good bar for a nightcap Unfortunately, we had an interior room that faces a very close neighboring building (about 5 feet). It was dark in the daytime and inadequately lit at night. We booked a premium king on the IHG website, so it's not like we had the cheapest room. We would consider staying there again but certainly not in an interior room.

When we were checking in & filling out the paperwork that included start & end dates, I asked them about the fact that we come back 5/8, but technically 5/9 as our plain lands @ 12:10am. They didn’t tell us the last shuttle leaves at midnight. When looking up for just the room the rate was $159. With the park & stay we paid $298. Had we known we were going to pay for a taxi to get back to the hotel which was $17 ($25 w/tip) we would have stayed for the convenience of how close it was & then would have just paid to park at the airport which would have been cheaper. That person checking us in SHOULD HAVE given us the information to give us that option knowing that I told him we would be landing after their last shuttle!!! They did not have the shuttle times advertised when signing up for the park & shuttle option either!!!! Feel like they ripped us off for their own profit & we had to fend for ourselves to get back!

Reviewed By jenny51834Large Victorian inn. Well appointed. Clean, conveniently located for Case Western. Staff is well trained. Adequate outdoor parking. WiFi was awful. Extra high bed was too soft, pillows were very flat, and the room was a bit stuffy. Oldish bathroom could use a renovation.
