Don Quixote Trail
Reviewed By HarryJackson1656Stayed a couple of nights as a base for part of the Don Quixote trail. Hotel is very well situated on the edge of the city, easy access by road and just a 15 minute walk to the centre and Plaza Mayor. Hotel is clean, beds are comfortable and food reasonably good. Very enjoyable stay.

Outstanding staff
Reviewed By Marga2009A special mention to the staff that runs the hotel in a smooth way for the benefit of their guests. Nothing is a problem for them, making the guest feel at home. Having said that, the hotel is centrally located with good size rooms and clean bathrooms. A fridge with drinks and a safe are available in the room. Breakfast is decent with some warm choices. It was a good idea to have a microwave oven in the breakfast room in case you want something warmer; I miss that in most hotels. If there is a drawback is the hard bed, but it is not a problem at this hotel, but in most NH hotels. The pillow was quite good, though.

Lovely Little Hotel
Reviewed By Mike BWe were on a trip to see the Roman remains in Mérida and stopped off to break the journey in Ciudad real, a pretty little town about mid-way. The hotel is easy to find and is on a main road into the town, we were on the back so although no view we had no chance of any traffic noise. The hotel was immaculate and only was de-rated from 5 stars because there was no plug in the wash-hand basin, otherwise it was perfect. Clean, comfortable and well maintained. The cafeteria had been rented to a young chef and the meal there was superb.

Nice spot in the campo
Reviewed By Russell21We couldn't find it but the manager agreed to meet us at a restaurant in town to give us directions. Very good casa rural. Very nicely decorated and designed with very comfortable rooms. We were the only people there so had it to ourselves and spent an enjoyable afternoon on the terrace with beers from the bar. (Unfortunately the pool was dirty and consequently closed). We ate dinner in the very attractive restaurant and had our own chef (Scarlett) for the evening who offered to cook us anything we wanted. It was delicious and well priced. Breakfast on the other hand was very limited and very poor. Overall we enjoyed the relaxed environment very much.

Hotel Santa Cecilia is located in the center of the city which makes it a big plus point for the visitors. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.,they helped us with all the queries and requests. Property and rooms are clean and underground parking for hotel guests makes a big advantage comparing to what other neighbouring properties has to over. Located very close to supermarket (Carrefour Express is located 100m from the hotel), restaurants and pubs. all accessible within 5 min from the hotel. They can do better with the breakfast offering ( for the extra charge you get only toast with juice and coffee) as surrounding hotels has better spread. Please avoid paying for breakfast if you staying here, unless its provided free. Internet can be improved as i had difficulty conducting my work during stay. Totally had a pleasant stay and will visit again in future. Kudos to the Staff.

It could be better
Reviewed By 46carolinaeFirst thing i must say about this hotel is that most of their staff are great, efficient and very hard working. Unfortunately rooms are a bit tired, limescale in shower, dust in the wardrobe. I would say it feels more like a 3* than 4. When people are in corridor outside you can hear everything. On the pros, bed was comfy, breakast was good, swimming pool looked lovely. Location is about 10 minutes from the center. For the price paid is ok.

Reviewed By Courtnie CThis circular hotel is not very conveniently located but it is a quiet area. The hotel is decent enough, but definitely lacks the room comfort for a long term stay. They have a spa with decent manicures with friendly staff however nothing special.
