Reviewed By 604gcGreat reception on arrival for a three night stay. Covid rules being well applied and enforced. Very clean and tidy, breakfast good choice. Would highly recommend and stay again if visiting Tours / chateau's again. Ideally located and plenty of eating houses near if needed.

Nearly perfect
Reviewed By Mette06Nice staff, clean room (even a bit too strong on the smell of the cleansing stuff! ;-), and especially NO noise on the parking area side. (Only some people in the room above or not far started hollering around at half past one in the morning, but someone apparently banged on their door and ordered them to stop). Only the shower had a problem: it was very hard to turn on/off the taps and it took me at least five minutes to balance cold and hot. before I could actually have a shower. In the morning, my next-door neighbour asked for help because he couldn't turn off the burning hot water! Also, in my own room, the ring supporting the shower head was broken (fortunately I am not tall!). So, apart from the shower problem, it was quiet, clean and nice!

Reviewed By Catherine JI love Campanile hotels - friendly, efficient, no fuss, provides all you need for an en-route stop over - tho the hotel at Poiters Sud is a bit tired in its decor and could do with an upgrade. And the coffee machine wouldn't make coffee for breakfast, and the guy on duty didn't know how to fix it, which was a bit disappointing. But there is a whole field at the back to walk the dog. Chapeau!

Treated us with total contempt
Reviewed By eggnalfAvoid - Treated with utter contempt . Staff were hostile and rude when we requested an evening drink , drinks menu thrown at us and had to ask several times for any service . In the morning we asked could they fill up our water bottles ( it was 30 + degrees) . This request was met with dismissive responses and the final insult even though I had secured the booking with my credit card they called three times after we left stating we had not paid with a final threat to call the police if we did not pay . One call and the original card went straight through. Do not stay in this hotel unless you want to be treated badly.

Reviewed By UHS4C- The hotel very cozy and very good area of Paris, and it is very well in the commercial area and near the great monuments. - It is a very simple hotel but to spend a week in Paris is not bad that it has 3 stars and the only thing that includes breakfast, breakfast is not an otherworldly thing and they are frozen things which I do in the oven at the moment, plus sausages and liquids that I think is the best breakfast. - Of the room that is very well to be a 3 star hotel; Everything very clean and organized. The beds very comfortable and restored every day by the cleaning service which was fantastic, the bathroom included in the room, perhaps the bathroom was the least I liked because it was very small and plastic. - About the attention of the hotel reception The opinion of the time was good, but better than ever. Walking in flip flops - If I went back to spend a vacation in Paris, I will stay there again.

Ibis is flexible, clean, offers dinners and breakfast if we wish and we have always been rather satisfied of the service and the food offer and quality. Ibis are flexible, you do not need to book long in advance and if ever one hotel is full, they will point you another one at few kms away which has rooms available. we are Ibis customers for a while and happy with the quality/price overall. we also believe the offer is improving with Ibis Style which is a positive point for us.

Put my dogs in the car whilst I got showered and dressed only to be shouted at by the patron as I went to tale them out again for their walk before getting my breakfast! Welcome to France! Lucky he wasn't punched in the face as some surely would have! Told I was mad and not to return! Won't be upset to give this place a miss! Shouted at in a loud voice with wagging finger like a naughty school boy I can do without. I wouldn't return anyway.

Reviewed By auntieshaz21Our room was small and on the ground floor, although the window opened - full marks there was no security lock. You couldn't leave it open at night. Comfortable bed and bedding, friendly staff and 24hour reception. Good size parking but not secure.

Very good for an en-route overnight
Reviewed By Cambridge77This is very close to an exit off the A20, very easy to find, next to a supermarket with a petrol station 24/7. We arrived around 2 am, on a Friday night of a busy holiday weekend in August. We could park easily. We had booked at lunchtime for the night on the same day. When we arrived, all the rooms had been booked, so booking beforehand is helpful! The night attendant was available straightaway and welcomed us. The accommodation, showers and WCs were basic and clean., bed comfortable. There was a buffet for continental breakfast with fresh bread. The attendant (different from the night one) was welcoming too and kept the buffet well supplied. Very good value, and very practical!

We tried a new route, so needed a new hotel, and were very pleased to find this one. On arrival there is no need to worry about reception being closed, the automatic key machine is easy to use, even with a travel tired brain. It spits out the key and codes for the doors allowing rapid entry...this is under cover, so if you arrive in the rain you won’t start your stay soaked! Reception is clean, well lit, and has snack vending, as well as hot and cold drinks. Our room was comfortable, with no wasted space,they could have provided extra pillows...the bathroom was just small. This is the only reason it doesn’t get full stars, I could barely move in the bathroom, the shower wasn’t height adjustable, and the toilet flushed very weakly...it would not get rid of toilet paper, so would be dreadfulshould you need to use it in anger!! The breakfast looked and smelled great, it was only just opening up when we left (Sunday) so we didn’t bother and had something on the road later. I would recommend this hotel without question for anyone stopping over on a budget.
