Terrible staff and dirty room
Reviewed By Happiness373471I stayed at the Mercure hotel in Cergy for 1 month, I was waiting for my appartment to be ready. ALL the staff at the reception were super rude and I have never felt so bad at any hotel. BEAWARE, do NOT Go to this hotel. The staff goes to your room and browses through your stuff. There were other peoples hair in the all over the bathroom. But even though the room is dirty - the STAFF is so much worse. They talk to you so rude and even the head of the staff treats you like s***. When I left the hotel was the happiest day of my life, I never write a review but this time I just have to warn people.

They did not tell customers they are remodeling the place by the moment of reservation… I arrived here and found a place full of dust… The breakfast is horrible, with dirty dishes from renovation dust (disgusting). There are just very few options for food that they don't replace. Just today I saw the empty chocolate croissant basket and asked for more. Then the waiter shook the basket until a tiny roll landed on my plate… They don't even have mineral water to offer / sell to guests. HORRIBLE!! Total disrespect with guests.

Reviewed By David EGood clean hotel, friendly staff with helpful advice. The breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of choice, good fresh food. The hotel is easy to find and within a short walk to the port where there is an excellent choice of restaurants. The rooms are a bit cramped, difficult to move around.

Not the best choice.
Reviewed By skoobeebooReasonably priced basic modern rooms. Hotel is quite remote and restaurant and bar is closed at the weekends, so not ideal if u arrive late in the evening. No local bars or eateries. Taxis were not available, tried for up to an hour. Decided to walk to station, 15/20 mins. Not the best idea, we felt really intimidated. Lots, of what appeared to be immigrants in the surrounding area of the hotel. Felt unsafe so returned to the hotel. Had to use our car to drive to nearest town, which meant some members of our party were not able to drink.

Reviewed By NB898I spent some nights there in January whilie working at the nearby university of Cergy-Pontoise. The room was really big for it's cheap price, nice and clean. The hotel itself is a really woderful place and the owner knows what it means to be a real host! A lot of love and good spirit is around that place!
