THEY STOLE MY CLOTHING
Reviewed By CourtneyD1410I left two brand new dresses there and two white jackets to wear for a wedding. I forgot them in the closet and called twice, both workers said they had it and finally spoke with someone who told me to pay for a box to be shipped there and they will send it right back, no problem. About to send the box out and called back to notify them, all of a sudden all four items are missing. There has been new housekeeping staff and they are just...gone. The housekeeping manager is newer and was very nice but was willing to take the money out of her paycheck to pay for it because she felt so bad. Worst hotel EVER. The staff was rude at check in and our keys didn't work 5+ times the entire weekend. Then, the key system was down for the whole hotel (stuff happens) but they asked all of the guests if we can just come back later? what in the world is being run there? Calling corporate for sure.

One flaw - there was one day that our room wasn’t cleaned…??? When I went to the reception at around 6pm, they said that there were some rooms cleaned and some not, and that the cleaners went home…?? Couldn’t believe that from that kind of hotel and that kind of rates… just a little bit disappointing otherwise it was amazing for us and we really loved the hotel.

Reviewed By fredwarren1958Tourist season had not started sot it was not crowded. Staff was very friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions of where to go. Town was need and clean. Only downside was potholes in drive area, which I assume are the responsibility of the developer.

EconoLodge Inn and Suites is a newly Renovated Hotel. We Start renovation in 2014 finish in 2015. Offering small breakfast that include waffles muffins fruit toast coffee mild and juice. Enjoy watching HDTV on brand new 42in Tvs.

Reviewed By Kroc88The place is definitely in need of a refreshing but the owner and staff make up for it in being attentive and friendly. The room may have been a little over sanitized as the floor was slippery when we entered the room.

We checked in when they were charging $10 per car for concert parking so we were lucky to have a parking spot as a guest. Hallways are dark. First room door didn’t lock. Drain flies in shower. Second room, Stuff on floor, counters dirty, sink dirty and no towels were provided. We complained to manager and she said it was “professionally” cleaned. Ha!!! Don’t stay here. Plenty of other places to stay and park for free. By the way, we stayed here before a couple of years ago so knew what to expect. Rooms were fine then. Not anymore!!

Peaceful country setting, just minutes from Canandaigua with easy access to the many Finger Lakes. Thoroughly renovated and tastefully appointed. Soundproofed guest rooms and suites. Terraced perennial gardens. Outdoor Hot Tub. Close to wineries and breweries, hiking, kayaking, antiquing, skiing and many year-round activities. Amenities available to guests in common include microwave, refrigerator, ice machine, hot and cold water dispenser, a selection of teas, hot chocolate, snacks, coffee maker, as well as stemware, plates and silverware. Refrigerator also available in the Bristol and Barn Suites. Kitchenette and coffee maker available in Barn Suite, as well as dining accommodations and room service (additional fee). Lovely host Sheryl who not only made sure we felt very welcome at the inn, but also prepared a delicious gourmet breakfast. Ample amenities in the bathroom in case you forget anything and a pantry full of cold drinks and snacks to satisfy midday cravings. Four minutes to Bristol Mountain and ten minutes to downtown Canandaigua make it a convenient location as well. We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic stay
Reviewed By Patricia TWe recently stayed here and enjoyed ourselves tremendously. We booked the Oliver Phelps suite, and I highly recommend it. The loveseat and fireplace made a cozy spot to sip local wine. And the breakfasts were truly gourmet, with a focus on local ingredients. I didn't think anything could top the fabulous blueberry waffle...until I had the fingerling-sweet potato poutine with garlic cheese curds. The entire house and grounds are very well kept. Karin was a wonderful host, very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area, wineries, and restaurants. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely stay here.

Not A Good Stay
Reviewed By maryfW474BPI only stayed one night thankfully and left early the next morning without breakfast (which was buffet style, not the most sanitary), I felt so uncomfortable. As someone said there was only one extension cord or if you did like me with acrobatics dug that cord from behind the bed to use while sitting in bed with my iPad, unless one wanted to sit at a small wooded desk. I read other reviews about the noisy AC so decided to forgo that and open a window. Heck, there was no screen on the window and I wasn’t in the mood to sleep with bugs. And yes as others, my bathroom was around the corner in the hallway. I think what really topped everything off was in the bathtub there was a used community soap bar - ugh. I believe there was a makeup remover packet and an unused Dial soap bar but no other toiletries provided other than community bottles of shampoo and conditioner in the tub. I had stayed at an A++ bed and breakfast prior to this one and the thoughts to make the guests comfortable and relaxing was unbelievable. This one seemed as if she was just collecting the money
