Comfortable Room & Friendly Hosts

Reviewed By Brian S

My wife and I, accompanied by our 9 year old grandson were returning home to Sydney and stayed here for one night. On arrival Frances was lovely and friendly and a room was already warmed by the air-conditioner. When grandson decided he wanted to have swim (a May day, in Bright???), although Leo thought he was nuts, he turned on the filter and could not have been more accommodating. He also gave us advice on where (and where not) to have dinner. Our room was cosy warm and we all had a great nights rest. Hoping to return to Bright as it is a very lovely town and will definitely stay at Bright on Track.

A couple of nights NRMA Caravan Park Bright Vic

Have read all the negative reviews and honestly found the park to be not too bad. Is probably in need of a bit of updating, is a bit expensive and sites are a gravel base but probably understandable with the dry weather. Ammenities blocks were OK, showers were hot and there are plenty of them cleanliness needs a little attention. Camp kitchen needs a good clean and maybe a bit more attention on cooking items etc. Overall the park is quiet with extensive large trees a good pool. Has a feeling of big plans in the near future..

Very friendly and helpful staff, good accommodation and excellent meals

Reviewed By chowfamily80

My wife and I have had a short break in Bright for 4 days over the weekend during which we stayed at the Bright Chalet, and our experience there is wonderful. The family room is well appointed and well made up. The hosts and staff are not just friendly but also helpful, giving us the impression that as if we are staying with a family. The continental breakfast included in the price is more than just the basic provisions. Examples: guests are provided with large varieties of cereals (including gluten free ones), yoghurts and bread to choose from. We also have had the opportunity to have dinner at the Chalet, in the form of a delicious buffet, including 2 main courses, four vegetable dishes and desserts. Both the quality and quantity are excellent. During our stay, there was a large group of senior citizens from Glen Waverley/Mount Waverley having a one-week stay there. We can see that they are also happy guests. By the way, the staff there even take the initiative of pre-arranging the tables with individual family name tags so that all guests know where to seat for breakfast and dinner. Also, there is a bar inside the very spacious restaurant. During Winter, guests can hire chain and ski equipment and use the shuttle bus services to the skiing venues.

Great motel .. but why the mini putt putt?!

Reviewed By Roved

This is our second stay at this motel, and while it offers nothing particularly special, it is very conveniently located to the park, river and restaurants … all within very easy walking distance. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and adequately large enough for 2 adults. Also very quiet and peaceful, with our room facing an expansive green lawn. For the price paid, we were very happy. But unfortunately we’re not sure we will return … an ugly mini putt putt is being built right across the entrance to the motel, and we can only assume, once opened, this will also detract from the ‘peacefulness’. One has to ask why they’re doing this?!!
