Disappointed

Typically had good luck with this hotel. Not this time!! Left some personal property and all I keep getting is hoops to jump through. Instead of just mailing my personal property they are choosing to make it impossible for me to get it back. They are fixated on not returning my property.

Retro chic stay

What a cute hotel! Loved the retro vibe updated with modern amenities. Appreciated the contactless check in - the free champagne was a welcome perk at the end of a long day. The bed was super comfy and it was very quiet at night. Even cuter then I thought it would be!

Motel 6 at premium price

Reviewed By Sheep2ndrow

Well here are the good; Clean, good bed and pillows, good shower, good coffee and tea in the lobby. Issues and problems; no drawers, no closet (hangers on a rack, very hard to use) , hard carpet tiles, bad lighting, 2 plastic chairs (emes style but very uncomfortable) couch that faces nothing (TV is around a corner) fan in bath never shuts off, no mini fridge, no in room coffee, stained leather pad on shelf/desk, no outlet for charger on one side of the bed. We paid over$400 a night? Not much they can do about the Saturday 7AM garbage truck banging into the building but be aware that this did happen. I gave them an average only because the staff was great. Really exceptional, friendly, prompt, careful, available and fun. But the place is poorly furnished and equipped. Minimalist? I guess, good? Not for me.

Nice stay with staffing issues

Reviewed By DCtraveler93

We booked this hotel as it was close to the airport and had a free shuttle as we had a very early flight and offered a free shuttle. However they never had staff to run the shuttle when we needed and had to spend 50.00 on a cab to take us. The overloaded front desk lady could not arrange transportation as she did the runs and was not scheduled in that early. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The room was spacious with a couch and small refrigerator. The bathroom was also nice with a great shower. Check in took a while as just one person at the desk. Breakfast was from 6-9 with a decent array of pastries but no fruit. Also our of milk. They had a computer and printer. However there was no toner in the printer so could not print boarding pass. I was able to email the front desk and they printed it. They told me they’d been out for over 2 months. Overall it was a mixed bag. The hotel itself is comfortable but we should not have to pay $50 when they list free shuttle. I would not stay here again for that reason as transportation is iffy at best.

Being downtown Bozeman is convenient, and this area has been thoughtfully laid out by the planners. Lots of trees to walk past when you go outside. The pool was nice to share with our grandkids; our room was on an upper floor and afforded a nice view of trees, and a sturdy balcony to walk out on. Guest Services very friendly and responsive. Food delicious, even though it was still kind of a COVID-aware situation. They handled that very well. My 96-yr-old mother was with us and she had a really nice time; easy to get about with elevators. Large windows let lots of daylight in, which I love. Overall very wonderful stay!

Relaxing and Refreshing

Thank you for such a wonderful stay. My career requires that I stay in a different hotel weekly, across the state of Montana. I must say, Lewis and Clark is my favorite hotel. I loved the attention to detail. The lobby reminded me of Frank Sinatra feel. The steam room was so refreshing and relaxing after a days’ worth of work. The warmth of the sauna felt amazing and allowed me to reflect on the day. I enjoyed the gym although I should have used it more? The first impression of the room was neat, tidy, and provided the essentials needed; coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave. The bed, pillows and linens were so soft and comfortable which tends to be an area hotels lack in. I cannot wait to bring my husband with me in the future. He is currently deployed overseas for the United States Army. He will love this hotel and all the amenities it offers. I travel to Bozeman about every five (5) weeks. I will certainly be staying here anytime there is a vacancy. If you’ve ever wondered if all your hard work, dedication and attention to detail matters, I am here to tell you it does! Thank you for all that you do. I look forward to seeing you soon.
