Reviewed By bradprssaFirstly the location is great, the whole set up of the place is fantastic, the bar down the bottom, although small, served nice food and cold beer! The room, on first vision, was well appointed, not spacious but had everything you’d want, dont dig deeper though! Bedside table had dirty tissues, old wrappers, tobacco, hair in the shower walls, walls marked in bedroom and side table. Advised hotel and they wanted to “clean it” but im ready for bed after a big day so that’s a no, no offer to move rooms! In the morning, reception asking to be sent photos, but no apology, no ‘em ail from management apologising about the disgusting room, no nothing!

Better than Quest Apartments!

Both our stay here we were given an apartment facing laneway (rear) not facing the petrol station or camberwell rd. So it was quiet and private. Cleaning was ok. They really need to air the apartment for it always smell of food. Beds are OK. Good enough. Location is great for us. Parking is secure but an extra fee of $10/day. Kitchen is ok. A bit small. dishwasher is too small. Dining plates too big for dishwasher! No where to dry dishes when washed manually. Washing machine available. No dryer or drying room. Could hear people next door coughing from our lounge room. Janet the manager was ok. Not the friendliest. Would stay here again because of the location. Better than Quest Apartments!

Fantastic location, dated apartments but very clean and well appointed
Reviewed By sandgroper12391This is a very conveniently located facility which is looking tired and dated now, however it is really clean and provides a good level of amenity for the price. Best feature is its location, and size of apartment, with a reasonable kitchen, laundry and bathroom. Some road noise for the bedrooms facing the main road. Something to be aware of - there are stairs only from the secure carpark, which if you have heavy luggage will be a nuisance. Best to offload heavy luggage from your car before you enter the carpark gate, if you have multiple people, then you can wheel luggage through the streetside entrance and into the central courtyard. There are still stairs, but not as many as the carpark is underground. Ask for ground floor if you don’t want lots of stairs, and the units at the back are quieter as they don’t face the main road. Great food and liquor shopping within a short walk, and access to the M1 freeway is fantastic, with public transport options not too far away as well.

Refurbished in 2012, the four star property is metres from Kew junction which features many restaurants, supermarkets and specialty stores and tram access all Melbourne events. The property has 76 studio and executive studio apartments including twin and family rooms. All studios feature kitchenette facilities and complimentary wireless internet access. In addition the rooms have a lounge/dining area, business desk and ensuite. Quality Suites Beaumont Kew has ample car parking free of charge for our guests and a breakfast room which offers a continental buffet. For any conference needs the Beaumont Room caters for up to 50 people.
Needs TLC and cleaning
Reviewed By moylouThe first thing we noticed on arrival were the overflowing skips full of rubbish in the car park. Also there were three shopping trolleys in the car park too full of scrunched up sheets etc. I guess waiting to be collected…not a good look! The foyer where you enter smelt mouldy and damp. We were told that our room on level 1 had a garden view. Well, there was foliage out there…but only weeds and overgrown shrubs and trees. The window itself was covered in cobwebs and extremely dirty. The carpet had not been vacuumed from the previous tenant, lots of crumbs, fluff and also old permanent stains. The bathroom sink and vanity had long dark hair strands on it…not our blonde locks. The toilet needed a good scrub. The shower had a great shower head and good pressure, but no shelf for soap or shampoo. The bed was ok. Fortunately we didn’t have to spend long in the room as we had an event to attend in the afternoon and evening. This place needs a lot of attention. I don’t mind old places, but this one needs a damn good scrub, vacuum and some TLC and renovations.!

Reviewed By Cruisy71It’s taken me so long to post this review. Quickly booked online as was the closest accommodation to Epworth in Camberwell. Someone had used the toilet, cobwebs everywhere, absolutely filthy, honestly don’t know how this place is allowed to remain open. Cockroaches, blu tack used to hold back curtains, I stood on a towel to shower, to avoid the broken tiles. I didn’t expect high end for $140 per night, but clean at least, would have been nice. I did discuss the state of the room with the manager. “Sorry about the cockroach”. For your own health and safety STAY AWAY! The picture displayed was “something” behind my bed.

The location is great, with easy access to several great food outlets (including supermarkets) and public transport. The booking and check-in/out process was very easy and all staff were lovely and very accommodating.

The Townhouses offer spacious and inviting accommodation in the quiet leafy suburb only a short stroll to vibrant Kew Junction with its many award winning restaurants, cafes and gourmet markets. Extensive parklands wind along the nearby Yarra River with kilometres of paths to explore and rowboats at the various tea houses are a delight. There is a choice of two or three bedroom townhouses, each with spacious living, entertaining and private courtyards. Every townhouse features a large flat screen television , DVD player, work desk and a second TV in the master bedroom. The kitchens have granite bench tops and are fully equipped with a dishwasher and microwave. All rates include complimentary underground secure car parking and free WiFi in all rooms.

Unclean, no soap, rubbish left in the room, lack of linen
Reviewed By 571petaeThe room had rubbish left in it from previous guest. The yellow stained bed quilt had no cover and the top bed sheet was placed on top to hide the fact. So implication is to sleep under an uncovered dooner. The bathroom had no soap (neither did the kitchen). When I phoned to complain about the facility after leaving for work early in the morning, the manager indicated that this was all perfectly normal and fine and 'business as usual'. Really do not stay here. I would have left and found alternative accommodation if it wasn't so late at night.

Disappointing!
Reviewed By Linda PWe booked through Airbnb. The hosts informed us before we arrived that they were away on a short trip so we were told how to enter the premises. We were under the impression that we would be given a room with ensuite but found we had to share a bathroom and toilet with the occupiers of the other 3 bedrooms. There were no hand towels in either the bathroom or toilet so the residents used toilet paper to wipe their hands. Our room was comfortable but we only had a small room heater and a very thin doona with no double sheets: this is winter! There was no table lamp. Our room had no lock either. We never saw the hosts during our entire 4-night stay. This house is disappointing for an Airbnb establishment. It is rather impersonal.
