It's all right
Reviewed By 323ram_nfThe place is fine and surrounded by a well tended property. The interior of the house and the furniture are very well kept and convey a sensation of a tradicional Galician noble house. I am not giving a better rating because I found that the people in charge didn't just go over the top when attending the customers, if you see what I mean.

Reviewed By PestfromBudaI have to realise that this is a one-star hotel and fits well into a tight budget. As others have mentioned, the bedrooms are clean and tidy, the breakfast tasty but limited, and the hosts are very welcoming and happy to help. It is, however, in Escarabote which is a handful of kilometres outside of Boiro and I would guess the beach is a bit of a hike away. Nit-picking perhaps, but a word of warning; the main road outside can be noisy so take earplugs to be on the safe side. If you have a car, you can park on the street but read the parking signs (we had a ticket) and there is better parking in a side street on the same side of the road about 50m away. Otherwise, it's very good value.

Friendly hotel in the centre of Boiro
Reviewed By SaraScargillYou wouldn't go to this hotel for great luxury,but it is very good value for money.Decent sized rooms,very comfortable bed,very friendly staff.It is also very near the centre of Boiro,just a couple of minutes' walk from shops and bars and only about 10-15 minutes from the beach.There is no parking,but the bus stop for Santiago is just around the corner.We especially enjoyed the 'bizcocho'- a very light cake,home baked,for breakfast-which was included in the price.We didn't use the wifi but understand it is available in the public areas of the hotel.Another plus point was the little sachets of soap,shampoo and shower gel provided in the bathroom.

Amazing house in the middle rural Galicia
Reviewed By Álvaro RIncredible house located in a remote beautiful Galician tiny village. You can see the amazing mountains at daylight and a clear starred sky at night time. Super close to a million world heritage places: sand dunes, celtic settlements... Javier, the owner is the best host. Rooms were impecable. 10//10. Javier, thanks for having such a wonderful place. Reviewed By Angel CYa el título lo dice todo. Situada en Escarabote (Boiro-La Coruña) el enclave es ideal, la ría de Arosa a un lado con sus bateas, el monte al otro. Ahí se encuentra A casa de Filomena. A casa de Juan diría yo. La casa es un lujo al que no le falta detalle. Cuatro dormitorios dobles, con baño incorporado y tv. Salón, comedor, lavadero, jardín. Todo equipado, cuidado hasta el más pequeño detalle. Todo ello presentado por Juan, un anfitrión perfecto y cariñoso. Pocos sitios como este. Imprescindible
